One of the few repair kits that say they work on cracks. I’ve used several of these on cars and our rv windshield, never had a chip or crack spread after. The trick to getting a good patch is to ensure you apply to a cooler windshield, then expose to sunlight to set.

I bought this after I got a chip in my windshield. My vehicle was less than 3 months old when it was hit by a pebble flying from a truck ahead of me. I was really worried about the cost to repair the chip because the windshield has safety technology. I went to a few places and was told that the chip was too deep and it had small cracks radiating out from the center of impact. I was quoted anywhere from $250 to $1,200 for total replacement. I decided to try this product and see if I could fix it myself. I used the repair kit this morning. The instructions were slightly difficult to understand, but that was the only thing I didn't like. I followed the instructions and checked on it. The chip is gone as are the small cracks. I looked at it from every angle and even my husband can't see where the crack was. Save for a slight bit of residue it is repaired. I would definitely recommend this product. It is well worth the price.

Some bad windshield with a big crack and the big stone chip doesn’t work

A "Must have" for a windshield chip. Now days it is so easy to get hit by a small rock while driving on the freeway. You need to carry this in the car/van to fill a chip immediately. Its a Rain-X product so its easy to use.

Better than buying from the store and to the standard the school requested for my kids.

Purchased this product to use on a 6 inch crack in my windshield. At best it made it less pronounced but did not eliminate or remove the crack in any way. We followed the instructions, watched the YouTube videos, etc. and this product does not work as advertised. Used two different cars and windshields with the same results. Do not purchase if you are wanting to repair a crack.

Fixed approximately 6-7 star and bullseye style chips with one kit. Results are amazing for a DIY kit. Most chips are virtually gone like they were never there before. Highly recommended for the price and ease of use with detailed instruction.
