Love these! The sound is great.. They work great and were very very very simple to hook up. I am not tech savvy at all and they were easy to figure out. Best of all because they do not come with instructions. The colors are great and the sound fills the room. Under each lamp is a velvet style non slip or scratch pad. All wires it comes with are needed for the speakers to work. Each speaker has water in it already so you will not need to fill it up. They are a little over 12 inches high I think.

Bought these for my 10 year old's birthday, certain they wouldn't work as described. I was wrong. They are super cool. I think I secretly bought them so I could enjoy them myself....just sayin'. She hooked them up herself and 2 months later, they still work great. Very pretty, very cool. The fountains shoot to the beat. Righteous!

I bought this as a gift for a nephew, and didn't know anything about them before I bought them. I did get a chance to take a look before they went back home, though, and enjoyed seeing them in action. They are a pretty neat concept, and might be fun for a party, but I doubt that I would buy them for myself. The 16 year old giftee loves them, though, and they have gotten a lot of use already. He's gone through cheap speakers in the past, so we wanted to spend more for a pair that would last longer. They aren't exactly practical, but he like them, and that's what matters. The sound isn't very robust, about what you would expect for an item in this price range, but is nevertheless pretty good. There is some feedback at higher volumes, and they do tend to vibrate a bit on hard surfaces when the bass comes in, but I put some fabric under it to dampen the vibration and it helped (I think that there is some sort of material on the bottom to solve that issue, but it was still a problem for the ones we used). They are fun to watch when they get going, are built well and heavier than they look, more so than I expected for the price. If they stand up for another year at the same level of performance, I would consider buying them again. I would probably spring for a more expensive wireless/Bluetooth version, though, as the cords are cumbersome.

Awesome sound and the dancing water is neat. I am giving it a three star review though because mine came in with one speaker that didn't have any water in it at all. It was I Christmas gift so we didn't return it. My daughter said she liked the quality of the speaker, so it was not worth the hassle of returning. I also tried taking it apart to put water in and you could not add water.

Opened up the box, plugged them in as described on the back on the speakers (not the instructions because, well, there aren't any) and only one speaker works. Sometimes. If the cord is plugged in a very specific way. Not all the way in. All the way in causes a bunch of crackling and terrible sound. Obviously all the way out provides no sound. But there is a sweet spot just before it is plugged all the way in where I can get sound. Out of one speaker. The other speaker doesn't power on, except when the speakers are first plugged in and occasionally if the cord is played with. Sad day, I was excited to get these. Not going to bother trying to return them. I don't have the time or the patience. Best of luck to everyone.

I have mixed feelings about these speakers. I just got them today, but when I turned them in and played music, the lyrics were faded and the music was all over the place. I got rid of my old speakers for this, and it looks pretty, but it plays really crappy music that it's not supposed to sound like. It's cool, it's just a lot of songs, it's all faded. Please fix.

These speakers have great sound and to my surprise they are much better than those that came with my computer. I'd like them a lot even if they didn't display colors so that's just a really nice plus. I connected them to my sub-woofer and the total sound is unbelievable. I've been delighted with them, so much so that I ordered another set for my other computer. Considering the price I think they're one of the best bargains I've ever seen.

I read some of the negative reviews and was really nervous to see how mine turned out when they came in. When I got them I immediately fell in love! Yall this is such a cool set of speakers and I'm so glad that I decided to get them! If you're looking for a little extra fun to add to your daily jam sessions, this is definitely a keeper!!
