I installed 2 of these in a bathroom to replace 50 year old fixtures. They look so much better than the old fixtures. A word of warning: if you don't have at least 3 1/2 inches of clearance left AND right of center of your electric wall box, it might not fit. I barely made them fit, but I had to be a bit creative in remounting the straight brackets which screw into the wall box. One other thing. BOTH of the fixtures I received had very minor flaws in the glass cover piece. That might explain why these were so much less expensive than the Big-Box home store. For me, it's worth the savings to get them on Amazon even with the minor imperfections. One final comment. I put CREE Dimmable LED bulbs in these fixtures. The LED bulbs need open (non-airtight) enclosures to allow the heat to escape the lighting fixture. These fixtures are perfect for that.
