France Luxe Sliver on Tige Boule Barrette - Nacro Black

I have wore varied barrettes my whole life. I had been wearing tortoise clips with hinges and plastic no-slip grips. (search: Narrow Rectangle Volume Barrette - Tortoise. This will show you the hinge/spring type.) That spring clip, even with the clear plastic grip still slid through my hair. I have plenty of hair, it's just very thin Anglo-Saxon/Scandanvian-type hair. I bought this clip because I remembered similar style clips from my youth. I am so very happy with this clip. Not only is the style lovely and timeless, but the clasp is so much kinder on the hair. I don't get hair pulled out from the hindges like I did with other clips. And for my fine hair--this clip does not slip, which is wonderful. Thank you so much for this beautiful, functional, hair clip. =)

I now have a dozen or more of these beautiful barrettes - different patterns/colors, different lengths. They are very nice to handle, hold well and look very nice! A definite "cut above" those available in the stores here.

These barrettes from France Luxe are wonderful. This particular clasp is easy to use and holds the hair in place well. I love the styles, designs and colors the company offers. You certainly do not find this quality of barrette in the stores.

Even though this is very pretty, it is very expensive for what it is. I wish I could find simple hair barrettes like this at the stores, but I never see any. Plus, I have very fine hair, so I need small barrettes.

verry difficult to tell from the $2.08 version sold at walmart till you handle them. Then the difference is self evident. These are light, have stays to keep them im place, It is nice to have quality things.

Nice quality barrette and looks great. A good choice for an adult. (I didn't want a barrette that looks like a child's plastic hair clamp.)

I have two others from this brand that I love. This one will not stay in my hair for anything. It continues to pop open no matter what I try or how little hair I attempt to put into it. It makes me very sad about the brand as before I figured I was paying a premium for better quality. Unfortunately I just missed the return window or this one would definitely be going back.
