Incredibly Durable on Lace-Eating Shoes...
For work around the house, I bought a pair of $10 "garage sale" Oboz shoes at REI that were in OK shape, but that I wouldn't mind trashing. The returned merchandise tag on these shoes read something along the lines of, "Customer states laces broke." Huh? Well, sure enough, these shoes shredded two more sets of heavy duty cord style laces in very short order, just from normal tying and daily use.As sort of a last ditch effort to validate my $10 bargain find, I took a shot on these laces. That was a year and a half ago, and amazingly, they're still going strong! For the first few months, I went through the motions of tightening/loosening these laces via the included pinch clamp. After that, I just tucked the loose ends between the laces and the tongue, and left 'em tight. Since then, I don't touch them much -- every now and then the loose ends get a little wild and get loose, and need re-tucking. Never while I'm wearing them, though: they come loose when taking off or putting on the shoes.I can't explain why these elastic laces aren't being ripped apart by the same metal eyeloops that killed off the traditional laces, since they're under constant tension and probably even move back and forth a little as my foot flexes. But they haven't. They're comfortable. My shoe fits perfectly -- never too loose or too tight. So I'm going to stick with them. And the spare set of laces I bought to replace these elastics when *I Knew* they would inevitably fail? They're here in my drawer, waiting to be called upon, but it's not looking like they're going to be needed anytime soon.

Pricey but they work on the kids shoes
Both the kids can tie their shoes but they don't remain that way for long. Even when my wife or I double tie them for them, they still often come undone. I figured I would give these a shot and picked up one pair in a size 30 for testing purposes. I put them on a child's sized 13 1/2 tennis shoe. That size works well and I am glad I didn't order the 26 I had thought about as I wouldn't have been able to hit the last eyelet and still have room to tie them off. My son thinks they are neat and picked up on how to use them very quickly. I will likely be ordering a few more to outfit a few other of their shoes (need some other colors as well). Also think it is neat concept and will be picking up a pair for my own use. Only con is they are a bit spendy (They actually cost more then the shoes I put them on since I got those on clearance). My hope is though they will last over time and I can get them on a few pairs in the next year or so. I would recommend.Edit: 12 weeks on my sons regular school shoes now and the laces still look good and (knock on wood) the plastic ends still attached. Shoes look beat up but again laces OK. Ordered a second set and put them on my daughters shoe as well. Hers are a shoe size one and again the lace size 30 worked fine.

Solves a common kid issue
I purchased the iBungee laces because my 4 year-old's shoes kept coming untied, and try as he might, he had some issues with learning to tie his shoes (as in, had no interest in learning whatsoever). I got tired of trying to keep his shoes tied several times a day, and the last straw was when the preschool teacher vented her frustration with how the shoes kept coming untied.Replacing the laces took less than five minutes, although, I initially had pulled the laces too tight to get the shoes on his feet. It is better to leave them looser as you replace the laces, and then tighten it down. Based on other comments, I purchased a size bigger because of the number of lace loops in the shoes (Adidas Samba) and that was the move. There are 4-5 inches of laces left after securing the lock down, and while I don't thing that they can be stepped on/tripped over, I just leave them tucked into the laces.I imagine this will recoup several minutes a day, save oodles of frustration, and with luck, will return me to the preschool teacher's good graces.

okay..watch size and more
I just recently started training for a triathlon and stretch laces were recommended to help with transitions. After reading reviews, I was smart and ordered longer than I would have thought to and was glad I did. The aglets (plastic piece at end of lace) came right off the first time I laced the shoes. Once the tightening thing was put on though it didn't matter too much. I didn't get the zero-friction fittings and feel like they would have made a big difference in how easily I could get the shoes to open up. They do hold the shoe on my foot well (though feels a bit tight despite adjusting them)and I don't have to worry about lacing them or having to adjust them during my runs.

A simple yet great product, just works!
I bought these initially so when I wake up in the morning I can slip my shoes on without having to stop and tie them every day or try to put them on without re-tying. Maybe that's lazy, but hey it works for that. I ended up using these for my running shoes because I can just slip my shoes on and start running without much effort. They stay in place and tight so once your shoes are on, you are good to go all day. This product is an example of a simple solution to a problem faced by many people, and it works great!

These are the only Laces for me
I've amassed quite a collection of running/walking/working shoes, and I have to tell you, I've always hated tying laces. I hate tying laces because they come undone, or if I tie them double, they take a long time to undo. No more, not with these guys. I suggest going with the 34 inch size. They will fit most sneakers. If you like a real tidy look, the 30s will work on a lot of shoes and there will be little left over to dangle in front of the shoe. Anyway I've saved enough time not tying my shoes to write a dozen or so product reviews on Amazon!
