- Fits most 9” Band Saws that use a 62” blade including Powertec BS900, Performax BS900PM, Central Machinery 60500, Craftsman 3299 / BA230 - Made of Premium Carbon Steel - For use in Soft and Hard Woods, Plastic and Non-Ferrous Metal Review: The Older Harbour Freight 3 wheeler Bandsaw..... - I was gonna toss the saw out. After a lot of F-&#ed up wood with blades that twisted and ruddered in the wood that were too thin. I was done. But I noticed that the rollers on the guides weren't adjustable. The blades I had were too thin in the rollers. .014 etc. Then I found this. .025 with 1/2 inch width, the teeth cleared the rollers and it fit tightly on both top and bottom. Wide enough kerf. By hand, the blade don't twist in the rollers, they hold and engage the blade properly. Cleaned and oiled the bearings. Just like a brand new bandsaw with the proper blade like from the factory. I'm glad I ordered two, just in case one pops. I can now use my fence and shove thick wood through it with confidence. 3/4 inch birch plywood, 5/8 inch MDF, no problem. Nice & strait. Don't even have to sand much. Will still use it to build me a table saw anyway. I do know not to run the saw at higher speeds now. Should be advertised as for this type of band saw. As a factory replacement. Them other thin ones are no good. Much cheaper than having one custom made for $43 bucks. Thanks for giving this woodworker strait cuts again. Happy customer. Review: Actually a really good blade - I use this to make pretty tight curves and it out performs everything I've used thus far in the 1/4" width blade category. Had no trouble with 8/4 red oak, and slices through other hard Woods easily

Avoid! LOW quality!
I cannot recommend this blade in any way. Actual thickness measured .031" and appears to have a convential weld at the seam that has been grinded down. That does not make for a durable long term seam due to overheating shortening the lifespan of the metal at the seam. How can I be so sure? Because the blade is broken right at the weld after just 3 days of use. I average about 6 months of daily use with my Bosch blades, and this doesn't even compare. The quality of the cut was terrible and slow in comparison. I'm going back to Bosch and I would suggest you do the same.

About 50% disappointing
Great for wood but didn’t cut metal as avertised. I even wondered if l was sent the wrong blade. Ordered a variety of blades for wood and ferrous metals. They all looked alike. Didn’t cut the angle iron whatsoever. For wood they all did great.

Exceptional Cut
This 62", 6TPI, 1/2" width bandsaw blade fit my 9" Harbor Freight bandsaw perfectly. I cut primarily hardwoods as I needed a blade that wouldn't constantly bog down in my less than premium saw, and this blade nailed it. Started by cutting 2" pieces of Brazilian Walnut (aka IPE), some of the hardest wood on the planet; as I took old wood flooring and turn them into beautiful kitchen spatulas. Can't tell you how many typical 14 TPI blades I've labored through over the years, but this was like finding a diamond in the rough. Undoubtably 5 star
