Works well. The finger area is ideal for protecting your fingers and gripping the stone. The leather case is nice. Took me a while to figure out what the tabs with holes were for. But if you knot thd ends of a leather thong and pass through each tab you can create a hanging loop to either attach to your belt or pack.

This whetstone is incredible, easy to use and store In The leather holster. It produces a very sharp and polished edge on all my knives and axes.

This sharpening tool works very well and protects fingers because of its shape. The sheath is made of thick highly protective leather. This stone doesn't require too many strokes to sharpen an edge properly. Very well made product.

The groove provides a great place for fingers to stay out of the way. Leather case is a nice touch

A YouTube video hyped this axe puck as being much better than the Lansky axe puck. It's not, and certainly not for how much more it is than the Lansky Puck. You can literally watch this puck dissolve into a slurry using the fine honing side. I use water as a lubricate, as directed. An expensive, terrible disappointment. Oh, it's made in China.

I like the fact that the grooves keep my fingers out of the way

J'ai tout d'abord fait un peu tremper ladite pierre dans de l'eau afin de l'hydrater en profondeur. Je l'ai ensuite essayé (sur des couteaux de cuisine de type à désosser) : les deux grains sont bien choisis et adaptés à l'aiguisage d'une hache ou de couteaux ; les doigts sont protégés (tant que l'on fait attention à ce que l'on fait). Ce que j'ai le plus apprécié est l'infinitésimal délitement qui se produit sur la pierre fine : la boue noble qui s'en dégage ("slury") à la fois facilite l'aiguisage et offre un "reflet" de ce que l'on fait (je n'apprécie point les pierres dites "muettes" telles celles d'Arkansas qui, indépendamment de leurs grains, restent "de marbre"). L'étui est à la hauteur de la pierre : résistant, adapté, noble et de qualité. Parfaite en cadeau de Noël ...

The cheap rubbish leather case bled nasty tanning residue all over the stone and the box it came with. What a junk cheap case to ruin a stone…what a shame.

La pietra per affilatura dell'ascia Hultafors è un vero gioiello ,presa in abbinamento alla mini accetta Hultafors è una cote di altissimo livello. Bellissima la custodia in pelle che logicamente si abbina alla perfezione alle asce Hultafors. Forse il prezzo ne inibisce un po' l'acquisto ,ma vi posso assicurare che sarà indispensabile e un ottima compagna di vita nel bosco! Io la uso anche per il mio kukri nepalese e per le bisellature convex....ed è ottima!!!

Es perfecto al tener una funda donde guardar la piedra cuando la guardemos tras su uso.
