It's been a game changer in the kitchen. It grips pots making it very easy to lift hot items without burning my hands. It doesn't rust and it's been holding up well with repeated use and abuse.

When I'm cooking Indian recipes in my Instant Pot, I'll often simultaneously cook rice in a smaller steel pot on top of a trivet inside the larger pot ("pot-in-pot" cooking). I use the tongs to safely extract the smaller inner steel pot, and then if need be to put it back in to keep the rice warm. The tongs are perfect for that purpose: strong and sturdy. By gripping one side of the inner steel pot with the tongs, I can safely remove it or reinsert it.
