Not bad for the price.
This is my first straight edge razor. I bought this low price razor to see if I could do this. It’s not bad at all. So if you are just starting the straight edge shave. I recommend this razor.

Good razor for the price
I purchased this razor, and while it is not shave ready, I was able to hone it on 8K grit stone and stop it 50 round trips and it delivered a pretty good shave. This is 440C stainless, so it is different to sharpen than carbon steel . It is also very wide at 7/8 inch and heavy, so if you are used to a thin light 5/8 razor, remember this is much larger. I recommend it - especially if you are just starting to shave with a straight razor.

Great quality at a great price
The overall construction is excellent, provides a very nice shave especially when kept in good working order with a nice strop. Enjoying finally having a high quality shave again rather than the safety razor that I was using. Great price for a really nice razor

Vendor replaced with a new one. Original was not sharp
Update to origins review:The vendor reached out to me and replaced the razor. I have also purchased a 10000 grit stone and strap to sharpen with. Will hopefully be happy now.Do not buy this. While it appears to be made of decent quality materials, it will not shave as shipped. It will need significant sharpening prior to beginning. This will require a sharpening stone and a razor strap and a significant investment in time to get it working. If you are thinking that you want to go cheap as a beginner to make a decision if a straight razor is good for you... just don’t. Get a good high quality razor and accessories day one so you are not discouraged.After some honing and strapping I was finally able to painfully shave my cheeks. It’s completely unable to even begin shaving prior to some sharpening. I had to switch to my normal razor to finish. I’ll be relegating this razor to throat cutting duty and buying a nice razor.

Nice razor.
This is a good razor. It came shape and with a good stropping I had a nice shave but it could be sharper. I honed it and now it is very sharp and I get very close shaves. I like the scales and the way it feels in my hand.
