I loved this book
I do not usually review books on line, however I decided to break my silence with Viper's Run. Some how instead of happening upon Razer's Ride first I found Viper's Run, which is actually the second The Last Riders series. I loved this book. While I was a little disappointed in the strength of Winter's character, I found I could identify with her. The hurt of realizing who/what Viper was and why their relationship did not progress over the two years they dated clutched at my heart. Winter is a very intelligent thirty-something woman, with a career she loves. Viper is a thirty-something, dirty bad boy who is used to having things his way. He is the president of a group of men who served in the special-ops part of the U.S. Military, who have since discharged from their service and have form a motorcycle club. The motor-cycle club he leads party's as hard as they work, but you see a change in the horizon (for Viper) when tragedy strikes and he realizes that the one thing he has been running from is the one thing he wants the most. In true alpha-male form once he decides what/who he wants and sets out to get it/her. The book is a great read, with a little heartache, little angst, little mystery, lots of love. The characters are fun loving, vivacious people who enjoy lots of hot dirty ***. I would suggest looking at the authors page for a reading order to her books because while Viper's Run is second in the Last Riders Series, she has also written three other series that intertwine with the Last Riders. The VIP Room, Biker Bitches, and Predators MC. One final note she is starting a new series about the Porter Brothers who are siblings to a heroine in one of her books, so perhaps it will cross over too. I refuse to tell who the sister to the Porter Brothers I think you guys should read them all and figure it out.....

He's lost so much already. Will be lose his chance at love, too?
Book two in The Last Riders, Viper's Run continues the story of a rough and tumble group of bikers in a small Kentucky town. Now it's the president's turn to find his Armageddon and protect what's his when violence and danger come calling.Summary:Winter Simmons was content with almost all aspects of her life. She loves her job as a high school principal, has good friends and belongs to a great community, but her personal life isn't exactly what she longs for. The man she's been dating for the past 2 years, Loker James, is handsome, successful, and a gentleman, but maybe too much of one. The last 2 years hasn't seen any increase in the intimacy of their relationship. If anything, he avoids anything more than innocent hand-holding and chaste kisses. So imagine Winter's surprise when she finds that Loker is actually, Viper, president of The Last Rider's MC, and a man with a bevy of women to see to his every need. Not only does Winter feel betrayed, but she has no intention of ruining her reputation in the community by being with a man she never really knew. Loker was determined to find his brother's killer, so kept his association with the rough and tumble bikers a secret from Winter. Now that the truth has come out, he's even more determined to make Winter see the real man behind the facade of expensive business suits and charming smiles. But can Winter understand and come to terms with the wild life an MC brings to the table when her life is about rules? When Winter's hard-won career and life are endangered, Viper will have to prove she means more to him than a quick affair. Will this hard ex-military biker find what he never knew he needed while providing the safety and support that Winter only just realized she needs just as much as the air she breathes? Only time will tell, and that's a luxury that is quickly running out as danger stalks closer and closer.I have really fallen in deep like with The Last Riders MC. Viper and Winter only increased my need to get to know this hodgepodge group of men and women who rely on each other for many of life's necessities. At first, I was worried Viper would fundamentally change Winter's behavior and personality by being the man he was, but that wasn't the case. They both changed, which is a given in any relationship, but it was mutually beneficial, and only inasmuch as how they associated with the people around them. The storyline was great, and I loved reading about a man like Viper, confident in what he wanted and would have, while the woman, Winter was holding back. I loved reading about how he won her and opened her eyes to new experiences. My only issue was the reasoning behind the attack on Winter. It was believable and a surprise when finally revealed, but it didn't seem strong enough. I guess I maybe wanted a bit more to happen. Maybe another attempted attack or mishaps leading up to the reveal. Otherwise, it was a story that kept my attention, and has me wanting more, especially Evie's story. Lastly, I don't know if I'm going to like Diamond. She's a mystery, but also a bitch. We shall see after I read on... <3

I’ve read this story many times...
Great journey. I love this book. It has great push and pull. The two characters are engaged in a twisted dance. Loker James is dating Winter and keeping her at arms length for two years. Yes, I say again, two years. Winter is part idiot and part saint. During this time Loker was not doing without, he had so many side pieces it was a circular buffet. Mind blowing. Even as Winter realizes things aren’t right- she continues with this twisted dance. Until things come to a head- the big reveal- he’s not just Loker James he’s a Last Rider and also their President.Even then, he won’t admit he’s wrong. Won’t admit he really likes Winter- not until she’s attacked in the school parking lot. She’s left crippled. Now, now Loker wants to keep Winter, and keep her close. Winter paid a high price to get his attention- aka his head out of his rear. Her time at the club house is highly entertaining for me, that place is crayZeeeee. Very humorous interactions with the Biker B’s- crazy B, killlyama, et al. THEY give all new meaning to crazy and I truly admire they way these characters are written; as well as how loyal they are to each other. Great book. Highly Recommend.

Loving the Last Riders
Razer's ride is my favourite book so far as I love Razer and Beth, but saying that this was just as good and I really enjoyed it, the series keeps getting better and better as you continue to fall harder for the characters, Viper and Winter are perfect together, Winter was such a strong female and dealt with Viper perfectly, after she discovers he wasn't who she thought he was, and the life he had been leading, which make her stand firm to stay the hell away from him. This was an emotional and heart breaking book, I loved how Winter kept Viper away when she was hospitalised after her attack, and how Viper's life changed after that event. A lot of drama and emotional issues addressed as Winter is forced to live in the clubhouse and adapt to their way of life while her recuperation, this is when we get to see Viper's sexy and naughty alpha male side and it was Hot as Winter succumbs to her old rules! Brilliant book, carrying over the issues of Sam and Viper's brothers death, I just love reading the parts with Shade and Lilly, so can't wait for their story! Onto Knox now!
