Don't waste your money, time or effort on this product!
What a disaster! Really fiddly, very messy (water everywhere as you up-end the whole contraption!) and time consuming to set up - then the water either runs out before you've finished setting them all up or doesn't run through at all so plant looks sad after absence! A vacuum in the bottle appeared to be preventing the draining.I would definitely NOT recommend them!

Cheaper alternative to self watering pots
I quite like the idea. I am often away for a couple of days and my plants tend to dry out. I find it helpful to keep them hydrated while I’m away. I wouldn’t say it’s a good long-term solution and I tend to water my plants normally while at home.

Very handy.
Very handy product but you need to make sure you have the right sized bottles. Very good that you can control the drip rate.

Not ideal
At first, seemed like a good idea. But once I tried it a few times, the bottle was empty the next morning and I had left it on minimum amount of drops. Was hoping it would last for week at least.

These devices are brilliant! You attach and re-use an old plastic bottle, turn upside down, insert into your plant pot, and then just leave it to do its job!
