I finally gave in to the fact that the unit must have been pretty smashed somewhere along the line
Rack arrived and I had trouble putting it together. I immediately noticed that one of the "round" post holes on one of the shelves was not round but somewhat smashed. But figured, well, I"ll put it on top. But as I started to assemble, it was relatively hard to get the shelves down over the posts. I should have stopped but persisted. Needed a rubber mallet to help get the shelves down over the shelf locking pieces. When it was all put together it wobbled. One of the casters was probably 1/4" off the floor. I finally gave in to the fact that the unit must have been pretty smashed somewhere along the line. Made in China, I don't know if it happened on its way to the U.S., or whether it happened in shipping to me. You couldn't tell by the box, but the thing had to have been compressed in some major way. The "round" post hole is VERY thick metal. There is a support line for Trinity. I called and was greeted immediately by a friendly voice. Her name was Misty. She immediately told me that she could replace the shelf with the non-round hole. Stability was another issue and she said she'd have a warehouse person contact me to see if there was a fix for it.Meanwhile, you need to know that with this (as with many Amazon items) you have a choice of who you are buying from. In this case you could buy it on Amazon with Trinity as the seller, or you could buy it from Amazon with Amazon as the seller. Amazon was $10 less. So who wouldn't do it from Amazon? Turns out this makes a difference and I'm betting with some sellers they'd MAKE you deal with Amazon (who I'm sure would take it back since this was day 2 of 30 day return policy). And I'd have to ship it back... A big heavy thing in a box that is now not so sturdy.I didn't hear from the warehouse person so next day I called Misty with an idea. As it turns out, I live only 30 miles from Trinity (!). I said what if I just take it all apart, put the pieces in the car and drive it over. She said for a straight return? I said yes. She said, sure. So while this was really an Amazon sale, Misty was perfectly willing to get it all straightened out, no muss, no fuss, no bureaucratic nonsense.Off I went, and other than trying to find the right address in a nondescript warehouse complex, all went perfectly. Misty greeted me as I came in. We stacked up the old pieces on a cart and took them in while someone brought out a new box.I get home and this time the thing went together without any problem and was as stable as anything on casters is going to get (it also comes with leveling feet if you don't want to roll it around). So some advice. If you buy this (or probably any of the similarly designed shelves), if it seems difficult to get the shelves onto the poles, consider that it might have been subtly bent somewhere. If you have to force the thing together, it isn't right. And, as long as Trinity employs great people like Misty and gives them the power to just fix a problem, consider buying it from Trinity. I was lucky that I lived nearby, otherwise I would have had to do the return thing with Amazon. The rack is exactly as shown. The hardest part of assembly was just me trying to decide at what height I wanted to put each shelf, as you can set them basically at 1" intervals up and down the posts. A rubber mallet can come in handy to seat the shelves a bit, but not required.

Nice quality but not perfect.
These are nice quality shelving systems and I would buy them again. That said, of the 3 units we purchased, two of them had burrs in crucial threaded joining pieces that had to be addressed before we could secure the upright pieces together. The materials all seem to be high quality and they assemble easily without much fuss. The casters are high quality and should easily support any amount of weight you can put on the supports. There are two locking wheels that you want to be sure to install on a single side of the frame. I would suggest a short side, as that is presumably the way you will push them around - from one short end.One of the features I appreciate is the side bar that allows you to hang things off the side of the frame. This is a new feature I haven't seen before in shelves like this and I've put together a fairly wide variety of them over the years. If you're looking for warehousing shelves, these are a good option to consider, depending on the price point at which you invest. We got lucky and found them for under $70 each here on Amazon and we'll be watching to see if the prices dips again as we could use a few more.I'm happy with the quality and ease of assembly. There's not doubt that they will last a long time. All the tools you need are provided except that a rubber mallet is very nice to have on hand to level the shelves and make sure they seal down on the support clips.

Very good product!
Very nice product. However, if you are only mid-height, it is not easy to put together alone, especially the higher shelves. Invite a friend over for coffee and a few minutes of lifting the shelves into place. Note: for those having problems with the clip-thingies that go around the vertical rods - look for the word "top" and arrow at one end, and be sure the two parts are going in the correct direction; clip on four sets at the same height on the rods, and put a shelf in place, pressing down firmly. In this order: work near where you want the shelves to be placed; decide whether you want the wheels or levelers; screw the chosen wheels/levelers into the 'bottom' rods using the wrench they send; clip the first set of clips into place (count the encircled lines - make sure everything is at the same level); set the first shelf (it will be the lowest) in place, check to be sure everything is level; you may need to tighten the wheels; set the second and possibly the third shelves in place, depending on how far apart you need them, check as you do each that they are level; screw the "top" rods into the "bottom" rods; decide how high up you want the hook rack - it makes a difference; set the remaining shelves and hook rack in the order you have chosen. When done, check that all shelves are seated securely and level (should be if you are checking things as you set each shelf in place). Move the finished shelving to the location chosen - it is a two person job if you have the levelers on the bottom - and you will need to be sure the shelving is level and adjust levelers as needed before loading the shelves. I recommend keeping the extra parts with wrench in a box on, or taped to, the shelves in case they are needed in the future.

Great design
There is engineering ingenuity behind its design. It is super super easy to assemble. Very rigid and sturdy.

Look Great+Strong=Excellent value!
These shelves look great! They are also very strong, stable an easy to assemble. The wheels (Casters) that are included are well built but not necessary to install if you don't plan on moving the shelf, steel feet with rubber caps are included. A rubber mallet is handy for building and changing shelf height. I like fully adjustable shelf placement, but I wish that the 36" shelf came with 6 shelves like the 48" Trinity rack that I have. Overall, an excellent value! Highly recommended!
