I just powered it up today. I must say this is a REAL controller. I have several CNC controlles at work on large 300 amp plasma tables to CDC press brakes . I got this for my homebuilt CNC router in my woodworking shop that has no internet so I wanted a stand alone controller that I could load a program on a flash drive and cut. I was skeptical I could get one that would work for this little money. But when I turned it on I see something familiar. Very simple instructions clearly written with instructions in Plain English simple to understand. I could let my 13 year old grandson hook this thing up with very little supervision. They email the manual and it is top-notch. So good I spent $22 having it printed and spiral bound. I haven't put it on my machine yet . If it works as well as it seems I will be very happy. Love it easy to operate after you learn how and I am very pleased with the customer service. I had a problem and they sent me another control in two days.If you want a stand alone controller. I recommend this one. It's a little in dept getting it set up. Well worth the time. So far I'd give it 10 stars. Still very happy has not failed to work perfectly every day. I have two more coñtollers for other machines. One router and a plasma. For a no frills controller it is great.

Worked great but had an axis fail after one year.

If people read and took one stars more seriously I would have given it a one. I have had nothing but problems with this controller from needless errors and poo design. First of all the set it to a constant loud beep as default till you find the specific setting to turn it off. This controller is missing basic features and thus cause random errors to occur such as while in the middle of milling the controller just stops sending signals to the motor but shows it still moving. The manual is filled with basic sentence error and when you contact the company for support they do not respond. I'll just give one last example of the problems with this product: the controller has two columns for machine position the position coordinates can be zeroed, the machine coordinates cannot be, so if my z position coordinate is positive and z machine coordinate is literally -70,000mm it likes to swap axis direction and cause my router to bash into the cnc casing wall. Do not buy!

I bought this in hopes of replacing MACH3 - which required a pc computer, a screen, a mouse and a keyboard in the garage - which is less than ideal. Plus that setup gives you a homemade feel. This small control replaces all these computer pieces and also replaces MACH3. It's a real CNC controller -industrial type - much more reliable than a pc and much more fun to use. Very simple to use. Will buy another one for my next project.

Very good controller does exactly what it is supposed to do. Gives you the total freedom to configure to your needs.Had a problem with the MPG hand held controller and they provided details how to trouble shoot. After troubleshooting it was discovered that the MPG hand held controller was bad, they immediately sent another that worked properly. A++ just have to be patient due to time delay they are in China.Great product I hope it holds up!

I’m having extreme difficulty getting this item to work as a result as a poorly written instructions available. The Chinese to English translation does not make sense in many cases making understanding very difficult.

This is a fairly complete system and is easy to install. I am replacing a homegrown CNC controller that was based on an Arduino DUE running G2CORE and CNCJS for the UI.The DDCSv3.1 has only one output for the Y axis (my machine has two parallel steppers for the Y-AXIS), so I had to add an external transistor inverter/buffer to replicate the Y's, but otherwise was a very seamless install. There are plenty of options and configurability provided. So far I am pleased and will update when I have done some cutting with it.

So far I really like this product; however, my only CNC experience is with 3D printing. I bought this for a CNC router that I made. My only complaint is that there are not a lot of resources for beginners like myself. However, I did get it cutting and it cuts very well. I would buy it again.
