Great buy for low budget audio capturing
Pros:* Very fast shipping (estimated delivery date was a month to a month and a half after the date that I placed the order but they arrived about a week later)* Works very well* Compatible with all my current recording devices (which consists of my laptop as well as my cell phone via a free app I downloaded)* Easy to useCons:* Only problem I have had so far is that one of the microphones has started to "fall apart". Where the cord and microphone meet there is a plastic cup (for lack of a better word for it) that is to help protect the connection between cord and microphone and is where the clip attaches to the mic. This cup has become detached and now slides up and down the cord, however this can be fixed with a drop of super glue and when I paid just over a dollar for each one, this is something I can deal with and be completely fine with.Other Notes:* I gave these microphones a 5 star rating, however, if I had paid very much more for them the rating would be slightly lower due to the one con listed above (basically paid just over a dollar per mic, had that been closer to 2 or 3 dollars per mic the rating would have dropped by 1 star)* I have yet to put these microphones to much use yet, outside of testing them, but they are great for capturing better audio on a very low budget.* If you are looking to capture audio for a dirt cheap price, I highly recommend these microphones. If you are wanting professional quality audio, I recommend looking elsewhere, but for those of us working with a budget, these are a great buy.

cheap and nice
Although these are very inexpensive microphones, they seem to function well, have decent sound capture, and work with my computers. I probably paid less than a buck each for these in the x5 quantity. I have built in microphones on my webcams, but sometimes they don't immediately start up. I used one of these to get sound into my skype and conference calls when the webcam sound didn't work. The sound quality is at least as good as my webcam integrated microphone. Nice handy lapel clip (yes, plastic, but seems durable) and adequate length of line made these usable in my application. Recommended.

Get these little gems until you can afford to spend hundreds of dollars on pro level gear.
Bought these mics on a whim after hearing samples on youtube. I paid $6.50 US for the 5 pack. All 5 of them arrived in working order. The sound quality going into a Zoom H5 is actually quite good considering the price (roughly $1.30 each).I set the level on my recorder to roughly 5.5 and was getting input levels between -12db to -6db this was with the mic clipped beneath clothing and roughly 12 inches away from my mouth. A second test with the mic moved up just a couple of inches I was able to lower the input to 3 and get the same output levels of between -12db to -6ddb They do pick up a little background noise, but they are 1 Omnidirectional mics, and 2 very inexpensive omnidirectional mics. The amount of background noise wasn't off putting or excessive, about what you would hear if you were actually standing in the room with someone. This could of course be minimized by moving the mic closer to the speakers mouth (12 inches away from the source is a bit far away for a lav/lapel mic) and lowering the input level. Highs are clean, lows are a bit much and the mids are alright. I would put these little guys up against any mic in the sub $100 price range maybe higher. Are these going to sound comparable to a Sennheiser ME2? Not a chance. But I'll take this over spending the money on a Rode smart lav or the like for as little use as they'll see. I'd certainly use this over any of the mics in the $20-$50 range, especially those self powered mics. (who wants to pay for batteries these days)I do want to point out that the length of the cable is listed as "Approx. 100 cm" which for those on the imperial system is a little over 39 1/4 inches (3 feet 3 1/4 inches) However the mics I received (all 5 of them) were actually just under 60 inches (5 feet) or for those who prefer the metric system about 152 cm. so half again longer than advertised, which is a very welcome surprise. If I had to buy a new 5 pack of these every 3 months (the length of the listed warranty) for this same price, so be it the price and sound quality is worth it to me.As other reviews have said, where the wire enters the plastic mic housing is fairly loose, so it would be advisable to put a tiny dab of epoxy into the hole where the wire enters, or simply wrap with gaf tape etc. I wouldn't recommend any adhesive too runny or it could get down into the mic capsule itself if you're not careful.Shipped super fast, Ordered them on the afternoon of Apr 30th (a thursday) they shipped the following day May 1st (a friday) and I had them on May 5th (a tuesday). Estimated arrival time according to my order status was listed as May 11th.All around a good buy. This will be the third Neewer branded product i've purchased, and I'm still quite pleased with the quality to cost ratio.EDIT: It is also worth mentioning that yes, as pictured these are in fact dual channel (left AND right) mono mics, so you will get a left and a right channel recorded with this mic, instead of a single channel (left) mono recording.Further EDIT: I recently had a chance to use these in an interview situation and am very impressed with the quality considering how little these cost. Pinning the mic under clothing, at about the middle of the chest and setting the gain between 2.5 and 3 (depending on who was speaking) I was able to get clean, clear audio at between -12dB and -6dB. These come in a little bottm heavy on the frequency range if your speaker has a lower register voice, but it doesn't blow out the mic and is easily fixable in post. BUY THESE MICS even if you only keep them on hand as a back up.

Garbage. I ordered thinking I was getting ONE super ...
Garbage. I ordered thinking I was getting ONE super cheap $5 mic. Turns out I was getting FIVE complete waste of money $1 mics. The clip for the first one I took out of the package broke the first time I squeezed it. If I could describe the sound quality it would be like if I had a TV with static right beside my head while hearing my voice as though I was yelling into an aluminum trash can from 10 meters away. I have no idea who these are intended for. I can't see how these things have any purpose at all. I feel bad for the poor little chinese kid that works round the clock making these things for a nickel a day. At least the iPhone sweat shop kids have something to show for their sacrifice.

works good, csgo player
Good mic, I had to turn boost on +1 and hang on top of my monitor but it works good for gaming and my friend says I sound more like I do in real life compared to my older TB headset with mic on it. The mic is about 1-2 feet from my mouth and I talk slightly louder since it's not right up on my mouth. I have a realtek mobo and the noise cancelling is great for this mic to reduce fans and background noise. I use this for vent and csgo and most importantly my friends find it adequate since they are the ones hearing it.
