Stegastrip is a row of uniquely configured flat plastic spikes that are designed for maximum effect against unwanted intruders. The centre hinge design allows it to be fitted neatly to irregular surfaces such as fence tops, coping stones and pipes When fitted back-to-back and secured together with screws, Stegastrip forms a rotating spiked deterrent when used in conjunction with the optional posts. Tip! when fixing Stegastrip to a standard 6' fence panel, cut 4 strips along the moulded saw guide to reduce each strip to approximately 450mm (this guide can be found 40mm in from one end) and the off cuts to protect the fence post cappings. ALWAYS MEASURE CAREFULLY BEFORE MAKING ANY CUTS. Gluing* Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust. *Many glues and adhesives do not work with polypropylene, if you do want to use glue, score and rough the base of the strip that is to be glued to the fence. What a fantastic product. Worth every penny.
Bought Stegastrip fence top wall spikes to replace inferior and crumbling anti climb spikes we had fitted several years ago.Stegastrip spikes have much more of an impact providing you with a sense of security whilst giving a high visual deterrent without being overpowering on the overall aesthetics of the fence panel or garden.Out of the box the product is pliable to a degree which enables you to slightly bend and fix to the contours of a curved panel or gate. The strips become strong and solid when secured with screws giving the ultimate physical protection to your property without causing harm to wildlife or the scumbag wanting to intrude into your property. Stegastrips would, in my opinion, definitely make anything or anyone think twice.The product advice to cut off 50mm via the moulded saw guide to 4 strips when fitting to a 6’ fence panel saved so much time and effort. It was a lot of cutting, although easy with the correct equipment, but this advice enabled the strips to look uniform and gave that added professionally fitted feel. I thank Bloom-In-Secure for that advice, brilliant and satisfying.Delivery and service was exceptional. All of my 25mtrs (50 pcs) arrived 5 days before the expected delivery date and I couldn’t wait to get started, all delivered and fitted in the same day with top class results.Only time will tell on the longevity of Stegastrips with things like any possible discolouration, distortion and loss of strength, but if the description of the products construction is correct, which I have no reason to believe otherwise, then Stegastrips will stand the test of time.More than happy, a pleasure to fit, fast problem free service, peace of mind and worth every single penny. What more can you say?

Security
Moved to a new house before Christmas. Fence at top of long garden backs onto a public right of way. New fence installed and following a recent incident when sheds broken into nearby, decided to fit spikes to new fence. Arrived promptly and fitted quickly and easily. Spikes look a serious barrier. Surprised how hard and sharp the spikes are when screwed into fence top. Exactly what I wanted especially deterrent value couple with warning signs screwed to fence. Hopefully will deter any opportunistic burglars/vandals.

Does the job!
These are great and easy to install with a drill and some screws.my only negative was no screws were included and you do need quite a few to secure each panel.however im happy with the end result.the spikes are sharper than i thought they would be and the appearance when finished is still tidy.

Put them up neighbour complain told me phoning cops took them down. There really sturdy good quality.

Loks secure enough
Actual strips are ok. No screws in the box which I thought would have been supplied. Think they will be a good deterrent once screwed down

Works perfectly. Cats still able to come an go.
Don’t want anyone getting on our property but don’t want to hurt neighbouring cats. The cats can still come an go. Hopefully it’ll work keeping out crooks!
