One of the better cashew butter. Great flavor and simple ingredients.

UPDATE: While this nut butter IS thick, it is more spreadable than I realized. It is much easier to work with at room temperature, which I realized after opening my second jar. It is luxurious! Downright impressive. And so my four stars have been upped to five. Top notch cashew butter. I have a hard time finding delicious, fresh tahini as it seems to be so bitter even when I first open the jar, so this cashew butter actually made some really delicious hummus in a pinch. Okay... I was in a pinch the first time, but ended up making more hummus with it again. I also used this in no-bake cake balls, which worked out perfectly. It is not a very spreadable butter, but cashew butter is one of the thicker of the nut butters, so that's alright. If you do want to thin it out, add some hot water and stir until creamy. I almost forgot about the creamiest, most garlicky, spicy salad dressing I also made with this. It was hands down the best dressing I have ever had! It makes the perfect base for dressings without having the soak and puree your own cashews. Next up, we're using it to make vegan sour cream for quesadillas tonight! Give this one a try, foodies. It's a good product.

This was definitely made fresh. I have never tried cashew butter before, but needless to say this tasted almost like sweet cream to me. It's too sweet even to use on a daily basis, but it's absolutely perfect to have if you were looking for a fantastic nut butter for protein balls. This even makes a delicious AND nutritious frosting (that can even be vegan if strictly using just the cashew butter). For those that gave this a poor review because of taste- this nut butter is light and sweet due to not being roasted! The cashews are raw, so if you don't like the taste of raw cashews, then don't buy this. Real, RAW cashews are buttery and sweet, exactly like this cashew butter is! I think it's a 10/10 in terms of tasting exactly like a handful of fresh and high quality cashews. I HIGHLY recommend this. Jiva Organics is also a very reputable brand! And in case anyone was wondering, this is not an extremely smooth texture. It has a bit of grain to it, but I love that as any nut butter that's so smooth it literally feels like butter is a bit gross to me. I love how this has some more mouthfeel to it verses something like skippy where it just feels like I stuck a wad of paste in my mouth. Also, as long as kept in the fridge, it will retain a solid state. It is more on the thick side, so no thin viscosity here!

Good substitute for butter and/or coconut paste and adds excellent flavor and taste to spicy curry dishes. It's thick and very sticky and takes a while to come out of the scoop and mix with. This is best for cooking than using as a spread unless you figure out an easy way to handle the stickeness.

OMG, this cashew butter is so good that it's hard to stop eating it. It makes great PB & Js, except the heat from the toast makes the cashew butter melt making the sandwich gooey, but to me that added to it's taste. In my opinion, this cashew butter is the best I ever tasted and I'm a foodie....mmmmm.

The texture of this butter is so creamy& smooth. No need to stir. It does not come separated , but a consistent delight of smooth , creamy spreadable cashews. Used it in a brownie recipe with Almond flour. It MADE the brownies. The rich texture ,taste & consistency was that of a "normal " brownie. It is such a blessing to find this product . It enables me to eat much healthier , without feeling deprived.

Why go through all the trouble to make these healthy nut butters and such, but place them inside jars and bottles lined with BPA? Click on go to store, go into categories, then Our Company. Great big WARNING in capital letters tells you all about it? The containers their food is packaged in needs to change.
