Roundhill Furniture Biony Fabric Dining Bench with Nailhead Trim, Blue

Mine came from Warehouse so I can't say for sure if this applies to all. First, the odor: It had a very strong musty odor which turned out to be the box and all the paper material like the instructions, etc. It was the eye-burning nose-dripping smell, I had to take it outside on the patio to finish opening the box and assembling it, and the odor still got to me. As soon as I saw it was the box I brought the bench in and it did not have any odor. The people who first bought it must not have liked the smell becasue they threw all the parts in the box and sent it right back, missing a couple washers. So if that happens to you, just take it all outside and see if it is better out of the box. Secondly, the squish: When I push down on the bench upholstery, it has a weird squishing feeling, slightly crunching. Unlike traditional foam but more like pushing down on a bag packed fully tight with those really tiny micro Styrofoam beads. Each area of the padding did that, but after the initial push that sensation got lesser and lesser. On assembling, it was easy but one leg didn't go into the slot I chose - I had to use a different slot for that leg, all the rest were smooth. I am actually pleased with the bench now, having got past those things that were initially off putting. So I took off a star - some people may not be able to get past things like that.

I was excited to get this set in because the images on amazon made it look great! When I received and assembled it, it truly did look nice. The installation over all was simple but did take time to put together. I would say 40 mins per piece of furniture.Ok, now to the areas I feel could have been better. the cushion filling feels like styrofoam and very crispy when you sit on it, unlike my other chairs I bought at Ashley home store. Those chairs feel like they have cotton rather then synthetic filling. I believe that the chairs will not last and hold it's cushion form for long due to that fact. The other thing is you feel shaky or a bit uneasy when you sit on it. Also, not as comfortable over 10 minutes or so.With that being said the price was not cheap nor expensive for the set but I felt the quality could have been a bit better or at least have cotton filling instead.

It looks like it is pictured. It’s a pretty shade of blue but the manufacturer used lots of staples to the underside of the seat bench to attach paper and a long sample of the gray fabric. It is impossible to remove the staples without damaging the thin fabric on the underside. Maybe most people wouldn’t care what the underside looks like but I do. The paper and sample of fabric should have been included in a separate plastic bag rather than ruining the underside of the bench seat.

I bought this bench to match two side chairs from the same line. I wanted a denim fabric that was really sturdy. Ok - this is not denim. But it at least looks like a mid-blue denim and the fabric is pretty decent. My cat decided to test it and, while he's gotten it to fray a little, he didn't shred it. The pad is pretty stiff and not overly mushy, which makes it a comfortable seat for dining or homework. I've bought two more to replace my chairs for online school this semester, since I'll have 4-5 kids in my house.

I liked the ease of putting it together. It's comfortable and is a perfect fit for the dining table.

They say you get what you pay for well it's true with this product. I have nothing bad to say about it. Exceeded my expectations
