Philip Suit, Boys Formal Occasion Suit, Kids Slim-Fit Suit, X-Large - 20

I'm torn on the rating for this one. The sizes are WAY off but the quality is super insane. Order AT LEAST 2 sizes up and that's if your kid is 50th percentile or less for height and weight.For some frame of reference my son is 13 years old, 50th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight for his age. He's very thin and well built. I ordered him a 14. When I got the suit, the sticker that was stuck over the size on the bag said US14 UK11. I would say that it's more like US11 or US12 than it is US14. I have never, ever bought him clothes that are showing in his age/size and had them fit except in the length. They're always too big.However, the suit is SO beautifully made (I mean it is just dead sharp) that I purchased the next size up even though I'm not sure he's going to need it (I had to buy another one for a funeral) that when the next size up became available I went ahead and ordered it just in case he has an occasion, and I'll probably buy the next size up just so he has one if needed. It is so sharp he actually likes wearing it (and he is SO typical 13 year old I hate formal clothes boy)The shirt is an ok make, slightly thin but the rest of the suit is just absolutely great.As for customer service I would say they need to get better reps and figure this thing out. They emailed me for my feedback and I let them know I thought the suit was absolutely awesome and so sharp, but the size is WAY off. Their response was "well this is a slim fit so". Look I get it that there are a fair amount of people who say their kid who is really bigger than an average child is saying "these clothes are too small" but I assure you that is not what is going on here (and look at all of the reviews).Get the sizes right and you won't be able to keep them from flying off the shelf.

I ordered a size 14, my son needed a size 12 according to the sizing chart but I ordered a 12 to be safe. When I opened the package I was impressed with the quality but was puzzled to see a size 11 on the garments and a 14 on the package bag. Thankfully this size happened to fit my son just right so we are keeping it. The quality seems great and he looks really sharp like it was custom made. The sizing needs to be more accurate though: either the sizing chart is inaccurate or the clothing is mislabeled. It just happened to work in our favor but ordering sizes shouldn’t be that ambiguous. Overall great product in terms of quality. Sizing needs improving.

Vow! What a great suit! My grandson is 11.5 yrs old 5ft tall 96 lbs and slim. He wears size 12 but can still wears his size 10 cargo shorts. Thanks to customers’ reviews I ordered size 16. Package label says UK size 12 years old. US size 16. Everything fits except for trousers legs which need to be shortened - easy task. Suit looks custom made!! Meticulously made and packed in a good garment bag. I rarely write reviews ( order too many stuffs from Amazon to have time) but now doing it to show my appreciation for a great product. Prompt shipping too! He’ll be wearing the suit at his cousin’s wedding in March. Thank you. Hope you will continue doing business on Amazon!

I purchased without reading the feedback, had exact same issue as other. Ordered size 14 but received size 11.

Once I received the correct item and size, I was very happy with it. Very high quality material and construction for the price. My original purchase of a size 14 (marked as size 11 UK size I think) was much too small. If your boy wears a size 14, or even a size 12, in Children's Place pants I recommend getting the size 16 of this suit. When I returned and reordered the first time, I was sent an entirely different suit from a different brand. Finally, I just received the correct item. The suit comes in a garment bag. The hook-on tie and pocket square that came with the size 16 suit are laughably small (still the little kid size) -- we will just use a separate grown up tie. Overall though I highly recommend this suit (and hopefully you will get the right one the first time).

Knowing how tricky the sizing is for these suits, I bought 3 different ones (US 14, US 16, US 18) for my skinny 13 y.o. son: he's difficult to shop for, because his measurements are all over the map right now. I've had good luck with English Laundry suits for him in the past, so I thought another British brand would be a good idea, and I was hoping one of the sizes would fit him. Alas, it was not so. I thought my son was skinny, but all 3 jackets had shoulders that were too narrow for him, even the 18: he could barely button the coat. The shirt was useless, since the collar was too wide. I was very sad to return all the suits, especially because I thought they were good quality (for synthetic fiber suits anyway), with very good details: these are not put together carelessly, and they don't feel cheap. Another plus: the pants have an adjustable waist!! So it was really too bad that I couldn't keep them, and I felt like that wasn't reason enough to give the suits a bad rating. It's not for everyone, just like any off-the-rack garment.

We purchased this suite for my son (8 years old) for a school project. Because of the other reviews saying that it ran small, I ordered 2 sizes (8 & 10). He normally wears a size 8, but because my son is a hockey player and has muscular thighs and bottom, I was worried that the pants wouldn't fit him. To my surprise, the size 8 fit him just fine.A couple words of warning though. The picture shows a tie and pocket square, but it didn't come with either. Also, we had to pay for 1 day shipping because the 2 day shipping woiuldn't get here in time even though we ordered it a week before we needed it.

Fits perfectly! My son loves them. I was not expecting to get these type of suits at all. I bought them for my son after stumbling on the shop by chance. I have bought a suit through Amazon before but the material, quality, sizes and fit were all poor, left a lot to be desired. This time a different seller- Paisley of London- truly impressed me. The suits were neatly packaged in very professional bags, they are exactly as described, they fit perfectly. The material is top adult quality not the "wear once, disposable" kind of suit I git from other sellers before. In fact I didn't expect to get the shirts, the ties and the waistcoat at all with the jacket and trousers. For that amount of money- brilliant bargain. I will never waste my money in Next again. I don't normally write reviews but felt the need to this time. I'll be getting all my son's here from now on. Top quality!

What a lovely suit, this is just perfect as it is top quality material and comes together with the shirt, tie, pocket handkerchief as well as the waistcoat. It looks so lovely on my son and will be perfect for our cruise this year as he looks so smart in it. I bought the size 13 for the jacket and trousers and was really pleased there is the adjustable waist as he is very slim. The jacket fits perfectly too, the waistcoat has an adjustable fitting strap on the back so is very useful to pull it in a bit. If you are thinking of buying a suit then definitely get this one, you will not be disappointed.

After reading the good reviews. I thought I'd take the chance. I was not disappointed. The suit is stunning, extremely well made, looks so professional and fits my slim built son perfectly. I will say my son is slightly small for his age so please think about this when ordering. The style, material and cut make this a very high quality outfit and the price is extremely good value for money. Delivery was extremely fast and came hung nicely in a suit bag. I am very happy with my purchase, my son looks very dapper and loves the slim leg trousers.

My son is 11, but we ordered the size for 13 as was expecting it to be small as this seems the way with whatever we buy for him from the high street, hence I'd say moderately small despite it fitting him. It fitted just right, fractionally long in the sleeve but nothing readily noticeable. Impressed that it came with a suit carrier and hanger. For a complete package, shirt/tie/pock chief/waistcoat/jacket and trousers, it really was impressive that everything fitted so well. It compares to higher end suits for adults, pockets were stitched for travel, spare buttons included. A quality product at a more than reasonable price. I'll be keeping a eye out for this seller again as he grows.
