Hoping this is not too dumb of a question, what do you attach this head to?

a metal base for this sprinkler that i bought through amazon......this sprinkler works super i bought 5 of them....

I'm looking for a foolproof sprinkler that won't get clogged up easily, which size should I go for?

I have several sizes, purchased from diff places/times. Doesn't seem to matter, they both spray about 20ft radius evenly. To ensure even coverage, I drilled the smaller ones out to size of bigger one, a bit more than 1/8". These are for big areas, and only full circle. They cover amazingly well, very little overlap needed. My wildflower meadow is very happy (can run 3 off of a hose to hose set up fine)

What number is considered the smallest?

#10 has the lowest gallons per minute and turquoise has the lowest of the 3 colors.
