Great developmental toy for baby/toddler
We've been using this to play with my son since he was only a couple months old and it is still a favorite. Early on it's great for sensory play, demonstrating movement. Later on it can be used for peekaboo, a cape, a scarf, etc. The colors are beautiful and it has held up wonderfully despite being played with regularly. It has endured multiple spitups and teething periods. I plan to buy more in the future.

Daughter LOVES her scarf!
For Christmas, I like to have little surprise gifts for the kids. I hang little holiday bags with tiny presents in them, just to add to the excitement of the holiday season. The kids love to look around the house to find the little decorative bags here and there. Anyway, I purchased one of these to place in a tiny bag for my one year old daughter. When she opened the bag out came the scarf, and more scarf and more. She loved the result of this amazingly colorful fun scarf in her little hands. She loves to stuff it into her "purse" and wave it in the air. It's educational, as we talk about the colors and good for motor skills too. Yes, a simple scarf can be a great toy for a kid too! Great product- durable too.

Son loves it but not holding up well
I purchased the Starry Night mini play silk for my 1 year old son's birthday. He loves the play silk, and frequently plays peek-a-boo with it. The fabric is a bit sheer, so it reinforces object permanence when playing peek-a-boo. I like to place the silk over his toy basket in the living room after cleaning up because it makes the play area look tidy.My son's birthday was just over two weeks ago, and while he enjoys playing with this silk it has not been played with roughly. I mention this because the silk already has a hole in it. It's just very delicate I suppose. This is our first play silk so I have nothing to compare it to, but I am disappointed considering the cost.I'm going to look for other silks, ones that can withstand being played with.

favorite toy in our house!
These play silks are my toddlers favorite toy! I first got her some when she was just a couple of months old, I would tie them to her play gym for her to look at and reach for. Now she’s almost two and she still reaches for them every single day. We use them as capes, hats, bracelets, blankets for stuffed animals, landscapes for her animals, we tie them to sticks and watch them blow in the wind, throw and catch them when we’re dancing, and so much more! Endless ways to play. It seems silly to spend so much on a piece of fabric, but these are worth their weight in gold. Definitely an investment piece your child will play with for years!

Good quality
It’s really cute and great quality. Smaller than I anticipated, but that’s likely my fault for not actually checking the measurements.

Baby and 7 year old both LOVE silks!
My kids can't get enough playsilks. They are so great for creative play because the kids can make them into anything they want. My older child loves to make them into capes, bandannas, baby doll slings, etc. and our baby just loves to hold them and play with them in his hands. The Starry Night and rainbow patterned ones are so beautiful, too. I carry the small versions of each in my purse to keep the baby busy when we're eating in restaurants or waiting at appointments and people almost always comment on how cool they are!

We just love these!
My daughter loves these so much for open ended play. I just purchased some for her cousins. However, they do snag very easily probably because of the material.
