Yes, you do need to be careful and actually test these items out first before putting the safety of your Go Pro on the line. But FOR THE PRICE, you cannot beat a kit like this. If you need a specific accessory and you really need it to work perfectly, pony up the money and buy it from Go Pro. If you want a cheap variety of accessories to experiment with and can replace pieces or fill in the gaps later with better quality official gear, this kit is for you.*** My own personal experience: Thus far I have tested many of the straps and basic mounting clips, the selfie stick and the float and have found them all to work satisfactorily. The float keeps air, no leaks. The selfie stick mounts like any standard camera mount. This is slightly less secure, but if you take care in screwing the Go Pro on tightly and don't use it with the stick as a golf club, you should be okay. I did not expect to find the full body strap all that useful for my purposes, but I when discovered that I could adjust it just small enough to fit my 30 lb dog, that opened the door for a lot more fun. Letting your dog loose with a Hero 5 Black strapped to their back and then being able to watch where they go on your phone in real time (to a limited distance) or later from the recording is a hoot. You can also save some $$ and use your dog as the photographer at all your fancy parties. Bonus: You'll find out which of your friends are dog lovers and which ones to never invite back (haha!).

I purchased this package and took it on vacation to the ocean. About half of the items are FABULOUS. Others are still good but not great. If your buying this for the straps and the yellow floaty handle you will be very happy. I Love that I was able to remove the top strap from the head gear , It makes it much easier to hide under a headband. The quality of the straps is great so far- held up to salt water and not being rinsed just fine. The handle floats well and was nice and easy to see from a distance. When it comes to the clips and mounts is where you can tell these are third party items. They would fit but it took a bit of pressure and felt totally different from the real thing. They still work but you can tell they aren't OEM. The thumb screws will rust if you use them in salt water ( mostly a cosmetic issue for me but may stop working eventually). My only real warning is the suction cup. It works fine on nice clean flat surfaces like a mirror or real glass window but is unreliable on any surface that is less than perfect. It did not reliably stick to the airplane window. I was able to make it work but I will be buying a better suction cup mount in the future. PROS: Price straps floaty grip clip mount CONS: adhesive isn't as strong ( might be a pro if you want to remove it later) suction cup mount is unreliable fits somewhat poorly when combined with GoPro manufactured parts but will work Metal in the thumbscrews rust TO CONSIDER: The pole is medium to low quality but that does make it nice a disposable. You will either need to use the capture app or voice commands once you extend the pole. The camera did occasionally shift while the pole was extended, ending upside down. Over all I would buy this same package again if necessary.

I had a previous GoPro "kit" that wasn't quite as extensive as this one but I used the suction cup mount in order to mount my GoPro inside my car. One of the pieces broke and I was looking to replace it when I came across this. Basically I could buy 2 of the pieces I was needing for $5 or I could buy this whole kit (which comes with 2 of the pieces I require) for just a little more. Naturally I went with this kit. Included in the kit is just about everything that you would require to get you started in putting your GoPro anywhere you needed. A suction cup so that you could put it on your car dash/windscreen or any other surface, a small extendable selfie stick, head strip, wrist strap, even a floating handle should you want to take your GoPro caneoing. Don't expect high quality parts that will last you a long time. Most are hard plastic and I would give them about a year or so before they break of heavy use. But at this price and for what you get, how can you go wrong? If something breaks, just order another kit. I am very skeptical however of the "original" price and the 92% discount that you are apparently being offered. I have no idea where this price comes from or how they worked it out. I think it is more marketing than anything else. I have seen similar kits in stores however go for between $40-$50. Overall great value for what you get.

Great value, and was nice to see a variety of GoPro accessories. I would recommend this to a first time GoPro user. I bought this for a trip down to Florida and my first time using a GoPro. I went parasailing and the monopod (selfie stick) did not inspire confidence. It would be great for just normal selfies, but not while in extreme conditions (high winds, etc.). Thankfully another party on the boat had a more heavy duty one and that worked lovely for my video. The other accessories I used pretty well! He chest harness worked but was snug. I'm large and in relatively decent shape, so this would work well for thinner men and most women. I wouldn't try it if you are overweight or like a body builder, though. The headstrap also seemed to work. I didn't try it in real-world conditions, but it fit on my head and held the camera. The yellow floater was great. Kept phone afloat, stayed securely on, and worked as a nice grip. Got some great shots of fish in the ocean while swimming. All of the connectors seems to fit the camera securely. Bike mount worked well as well. I did not get to test the suction on the car mount. I really just wish the monopod was a more sturdy piece of equipment.

This is a high value products for sure. You will get more mounts than you will ever need. I went on vacation and saw at least a dozen other people using this same set of mounts. The selfie stick could be improved a bit. If you use it in water it will rust and need to be thrown out. However, the straps are good quality and should do what you need it to do.

Extremely happy with this purchase. The products appear to be made very well (considering it's a Chinese product). Only complaint is how small the tripod arm is (maybe 6" at best). I would recommend airing the units off prior to use (big door from off gassing plastics). All clamps are well made, and spring attachment is very tight and not loose. Received all products ridiculously fast, and very impressed with the quality. Plastic appears to be thick and durable. Selfie stick is very well made also, I like that the extension pieces are very tight together and don't flop around. I haven't used any of the product yet, and will update once I get them in the field and put em to use.

Great stuff. Also many spare mounts available especially the adhesive mounts. Great quality as well. Totally worth the price.
