This was easier to install with 2 people. But it works really well. We put one strap around Twin XL box springs, and bought a second strap for the mattresses. It was fantastic. The pad that fills the space between the mattresses was great, and with a King mattress pad and sheet over it, you can't tell it’s there. Even lying in the middle. The strap has a plastic clip, not metal like some of the reviewers were concerned about. Highly recommend.Edited : we first used it over twin mattresses with twin mattress toppers, and it was great. When we bought a King mattress topper, using the thing in between mattresses caused a rise in the center. The straps are still great but w a king topper, the piece to fill between the mattresses was unnecessary, and lumpy.

The bridge does work perfectly and is nice and soft and you barely notice it's there. I've been looking for something like this at a reasonable price and I finally found it. The only thing that was difficult to work with was the buckle. I'm not sure why it has to be so big. Seems like it could even join to Queens together but not sure what you would do with that as far as a sheet. The result, when you join two twins, is that you have a whole lot of extra slack and the strap doesn't have a good way to manage the slack so it ends up hanging as illustrated in the photo. It doesn't affect usage but it could be an aesthetic issue if you don't have a way to hide the hanging strap.

We have been using this product now for a few weeks and I wanted to offer my opinion on it for anyone reading these. We have a full split king adjustable base bed and while I thought I would enjoy having the split king bed so I could actually have my side of the bed lol I have found that one way or another something always falls in the middle and during adult activities the middle of the bed is pretty much useless. This product has definitely solved this problem. The installation is simple but I would recommend at least two people to get the strap positioned correctly. The bed bridge itself is noticeable once installed but honestly it is so soft you hardly even fell it. I highly suggest that you also purchase a nice fitted sheet with straps on it to secure to the bottom of the mattress. If your bed is adjustable you can move the bed up/down probably a max of about 3 inches which works fine for us. Good luck and enjoy!

I used this in the v-berth of a sailboat -- there are two twin mattresses that taper on one end and they can gape between them. This bed bridge did a good job of filling the space, but after only one night, the foam had slid down between the mattress and had to be readjusted. Given the location and the shape of the two mattresses, it was nearly impossible to strap the two mattresses together on the boat, so that was likely part of the problem (we didn't end up using the straps). To get the best results, you really need to use the straps and cinch the two mattresses together tightly so they can't separate. So for my situation, it was better than nothing, but really didn't work well without the straps.

I got this to fill the gap between our twin and queen. It's good quality and sturdy. It supports the weight of my dogs and like half my body when I'm diagonal in bed. No more puppy legs falling in the crack which is great. From reviews I was thinking the strap wouldn't fit around our bed because it's a twin and queen, but it was plenty big enough and actually had to be tightened.

There was a big gap as we have two twin xl beds held together from the frame. Our dog slipped into the hole so we knew it was time to do something. There are so many like this on Amazon but this price was unbeatable. I ordered and got it the next day. We put it on and have been sleeping with no dogs falling down the crack or the covers. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately after just two months, the plastic clip holding the straps together has given way and we’re already needing to replace it. Will be looking at different brands. More than a little disappointed with the quality. Probably should have spent more money on a different brand, but I was hopeful this would last longer than just eight weeks.

So the clip was sewn in inside out making it impossible to keep the strap flat when in use and thus making it easier for it to slip off the bed. I had to twist the clip around through the strap to get it to snap together. Ridiculously poor production oversight. That being said I did get it to work and the foam insert did work great. Will be returning for a hopefully non defective one.
