I find myself wishing someone will pull out in front of me!
LOUD!!!!! Fantastic horn and easy to install on my Toyota Highlander. It literally took me 15 minutes from start to finish, and I did it the right way. Toyota makes it easy to get to your horns. In less than two minutes I was unbolting and unplugging the old horns. I was thrown at first by the positive and negative posts, seeing Toyota just has one simple plug, but I plugged the Toyota plug into one side and then ran a 12 gage wire from the other post to ground with the bolt that attached the horn to the car frame. No need for the relay. I wrapped all connections with electrical tape and repeated the same process on the other side. Before buttoning up the car again I tested out the horns. LOUD!!!! Interestingly they are ear piercingly loud when you are in front of the car, but not loud at all from inside the vehicle. All sound goes straight forward. Even standing at the side of the car they only sound like a normal car horn volume, but again... anyone in front of you is going to get out of the way FAST. It actually hurt my ears standing 5 feet in front of the car. I wanted train horns, but also wanted to stay married. These horns do the job great. I couldn't be happier. Solid product built incredibly well. Nice job Hella! I would totally buy these again. I was not paid for this review nor did I receive the product for free, nor am I related to, or friends with, anyone associated with this product. It's just that darn good! And they look super cool from the outside.

Good horns - easy to wire up and the included relay works great.
Installed on 2019 Forester - Louder than stock, easy to wire up. Cost was great, relay was included. I didn't want to have them be a focal point behind the grille so I put a few coats of flat black paint over they yellow. No issues and all working as expected.

About as loud as Ford OEM horns-but with that modern wimpy sound of today's vehicles!
Hella Corp. has been in business for a long time manufacturing quality products so I just hope this is another example, these pair of yellow horns were made in India??? These horns are noticeably heavier and a little bigger than the stock Ford OEM horns and sound almost just as loud. The write-ups had me believe they would be LOUDER than the oem horns, not so! I tried both the direct battery wiring connection with the enclosed relay and the straight factory connection without the relay, and noticed no difference in sound loudness. With some minor adjustments so that both of these horns fitted well within the confined space of my vehicle, I connected these horns using new 10gauge wire and secured them to the vehicle. Walla-they worked-they look sturdy, they are heavier, they are a bit bigger, and sound about the same as the stock horns, but now have that modern wimpy sound of all of today's vehicles, only louder. So I hope they last just as long. Wish the yellow horn covers would have come painted black from the factory but they can be painted any color you want, just by taping around the yellow covers and spraying or removing the covers. These are universal fit horns so expect some minor modifications during installation.

Make your bike sound like a car! Matches Öhlins suspension components.
I bought these for use on my KTM motorcycle. I have used the red version of these Hella horns on several other bikes in the past. To me the yellow horns have a tone that sounds a bit less artificial than those red ones. Maybe I would say more instrument-like, less alarm-like. They are not just louder than a standard bike horn. They use a tone which is a lower frequency, similar to the sound of the typical european car horn. Also because the diaphram of the horns is larger than the standard motorcyccle size, more sound pressure is generated, increasing the perception that the sound represents a larger vehicle. Each of the two horns here has a slightly different tone, Hella recomends the lower one if using just one but it's up to you. I won't get all into technical details but as far as installation goes: -super easy to just unscrew the old horn and replace with the new one. The bolt is larger than typical japanese horn bolts, so you may need to drill the hole out if you want to use the stock bracket. -these horns are phsically much larger overall diameter but about the same thickness as standard. You may need to be creative with the supplied, bemdable mounting tabs to find a spot with enough room. -you may need to separate and or lengthen your stock horn wires depending on the position and orientation of the original. -if you want to replace a single motorcycle horn with BOTH of these units: unless you know exactly what's what with your bike's electrical circuit, you shoul install the included relay to the horn wiring to avoid blown fuses. Overall-Works awesome, really loud and they definitely add presence to your bike in place of the stock tweeter. For cars-same recommendation, a good, loud upgrade.

Loud as hell horns so easy to install!
NICE AND LOUD! Very easy to install. No relay needed. There is only 2 wires for the horn. Positve and negative. Just connect the old horn signal wire to one end of a new wire using a spade crimp connector and connect it to both horns on the same conectors of each horn using 2 more spade crimp connectors. Then make a second wire connection to both horns on the remaining spade tabs on the horns. the negative spades using 2 spade crim connectors and at the other end use a crimp terminal ring connector and find a bolt to ground it out on. *if your horn is a negative and then a positive you can just reverse the connections. But o found that there is no positive or negative marked on the horns. So you can hook them either way and they should work fine. They worked so well i got a 2nd set for my wifes Prius.

Great horns but the packaging needs to actually protect them.

I am researching for weeks about horn replacement. In reddit, Hella is well recommended. Same with other car forums that I get into. So I give it a try and compared to the stock version of my car, Hella is way better. It’s truly loud. Its comparable to the ones being used by SUV.

Great units, only slightly larger than my OEMs so no issues with fitting them in the current mounts. HELLA also provide a relay for those who need one of this size (already had one OEM so it's a spare for the bits box). I needed to run an extra earth cable which gave me chance to clean up some wiring (oem were denso which only have a positive). Overall lovely product, nice secure packaging and performs well. Have noticed that even though people can't see me, they pay attention to the horn frequencies alot more.
