Would this be the right fertilizer to help potatoes grow bigger?

Two options that would provide a wider range of required nutrients would be Down To Earth Bio-Fish 7-7-2 or Down To Earth Acid Mix 4-3-6. If you are asking how you can specifically grow bigger potatoes (as opposed to a bigger potato plant), here are a few of guidelines you can follow that might help · Plant certified seed potatoes – these potatoes should carry a much smaller disease load than grocery-store purchased potatoes. This means lower stress for the plant and generally better production · When possible, plant whole potatoes about the size of a small egg. When not possible, cut potatoes into chunks about that size and allow them to scab over for a few days before planting. · Chit your seed potatoes – allow the potatoes to begin sprouting before planting and eliminate all but 2 of the sprouting eyes. Limiting the number of eyes allows more room for larger potatoes. When growing potatoes bump into each other, they stop growing. · Hill your potato plants – once your plant is about 8 inches tall, start adding two inches of compost or straw weekly (straw allows for larger, but fewer potatoes). Continue this process at least until flowering begins. Potatoes will continue to sprout off the buried stalks meaning you have more room for production.
