Did the job - a bit tough to put on
These did go onto my Ray-Bans. The one side went on fairly easily, you just have to be careful you don't bend the metal of the glasses in the way you put force on.The other side I could get it half on. I even tried using zipper lube. I had to use my pliers to pull it the last half way on.Ultimately they are on the sunglasses and now I can use them again. 3.5 stars because one side slid on and the other needed pliers.

Not very solid
One of the two pieces broke when applying them to my sunglasses. Fortunately I only needed one side but would have like both sides to match. Install was pretty easy.

Need to warm them up
These were perfect!I decided to refurbish my 34 year old glasses that my wife bought me and still likes. The temples were visibly rusted inside their clear caps (despite supposedly being titanium), and the caps were discolored and brittle. I was able to pull the old caps off, and use “Barkeepers Friend” (an acidic powdered cleaner) to remove the light surface rust from the temples. I also applied car wax to them to hopefully prevent future rust, and make the new caps a little easier to install. These new caps are initially completely straight and quite hard, and I could immediately see why some reviewers couldn’t get them on. I therefore put them on a plate in the microwave for 30 seconds each, which was just enough to warm and soften them so they would bend and slide on fairly easily. I imagine you could also use a regular warm oven, or maybe even a hairdryer to warm them up.Overall the frames now look brand new again!

Doesn’t fit!
I bought this form my Ray Ban aviators and I could not get them in. I finished damaged them and my actual glasses. I read the description and it was supposed to fit, but it was so hard to put them all the way in.
