(NOT a) Total waste of money
02/20/15: My apologies to Magna for not revising my review sooner. I got my replacement and it works fine. It is not often a company has such great customer service they can salvage a 1 star rating and have it changed to a 4 star rating. I'm very impressed with Magna. Notice, my original review is below. I put it on my grill and forgot about it. We didn't use the grill for about a month or so. When I did finally use the grill I noticed the thermometer rising VERY fast. The grill was not even warm enough to cook a burger and the thermometer was pegged tight on the opposite side of the pin it starts at. So since it had been a while I figured I couldn't send it back so now its just a useless decoration on my grill. Additional information 10/21/14: I called Magna and they have agreed to replace the thermometer (very nice customer service person). I'm letting my review stand as is for now but will revise it after I receive the replacement and try it out.
