Youth/beginner set, and having lots of fun with it
Bought this for my 12 year old daughter. Got it strung and was shooting in no time. The arrows included had blunt tips for safety but worked fine against cardboard boxes and hay bales. The arrows seemed durable even when glancing off trees and metal backstops. Quality looks pretty good, but I feel like it was SLIGHTLY over-priced, but compared with similar items, it was in the same price range or even a bit cheaper. That said, it works well, and the draw weight is low enough for my daughter to pull to full extension, but fun for me to shoot with as well. Definitely a beginner/youth bow and arrow set as described so don't expect to be hitting targets at very long ranges. Note that to fit in the shipping box one of the pieces of the bow is disassembled. Easy to click into place and works fine, but I had a moment of thinking it was broken before I realized. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

A word of warning
I purchased two sets of these. The bows are great, but the arrows started splintering after a few days of use. All kids (between 7 and 11) had fiber glass splinters in their fingers, which were painful and too small to remove. I discarded the arrows the sets came with and purchased 3 sets of Bear Archery Youth Safety Glass Vaned Arrows to pair with the bows, and that worked well. The bows are still holding up very well.iMay customer service is outstanding. They got in touch with me after I left this review and refunded the price of both sets.

I purchased this item for my 11 yr. old granddaughter's Birthday. When she told me she was learning archery in school, I decided this would be a desirable gift. I would recommend this set for young teens. I chose this one mainly becauseof the number of arrows included. Her excitement upon examiation proved my gift worthy.

Fun to use
My boys started taking an archery class. These bows and arrows are perfect to learn on. You do have to be careful with the arrows. The fiberglass splinters when they begin to wear out. The bows are perfect for young teens.

Very Happy with this Archery Set
Bought this for an 11 year old's birthday who had tried archery in camp. He loves it. No problems putting it together. The arrows are blunted which was a feature that I like. He has the target on a hay bale and the arrows will stick in there, but aren't so sharp that it is a constant worry. It is a little harder to pull back than the set he used in camp, but he adjusted quickly. It would also work for an older child or beginner of any age. He has only had it a week, but so far/so good!

Right on Target, So Far
My 10 year old took right to it! Never a lesson, only toys every now and again, but buy the end of his first set of arrows, he had already improved and was enjoying shooting our pumpkins. It was a great bonding experience for him and my vet husband, too. Hope it holds up. Will update after Winter.
