My favorite travel guides

The Top 10 travel guides are my favorites for when we travel, which is a lot. The books contain all the essentials in a concise format and the books are small enough to fit in a purse or coat pocket. The maps are excellent, particularly the small removable map in the back pocket.

Doesn't have enough information on the lakes.

I was looking for a book on Lake Como and surrounding towns so I purchased this book, but unfortunately it had very little information on Como, and certainly nothing beyond what a couple pages of print-outs from Google would offer me. I can't speak for the Milan section, but then again there are so many alternatives for books on Milan as well. I don't recommend this book.
