Smoooth Lines
This is my first time trying out this pen, and I've had It for some time now. It's been a pleasure to use. It's easy to load the tip, writes smoothly, and lays consistent lines. I've only used it on paper products, so I can only say that it works for some surfaces in my experience. I'd recommend this pen, though, and would rebuy it. Thanks!

Typical UCHIDA
An excellent marker, heavy and opaque and easy to use. Remember to shake and store it properly.

Gorgeous metallic color
These pens are so pretty, great for embellishing art or drawing on black paper. Heads up they are very fragrant and you have to be careful not to smear it while it’s drying. Also because of the way the paint/ink comes out, it’s not as fine of a line as I wish it was.

For modeling, this is indispensible
Can produce a bit more paint than wanted. Careful use recommended.

Keeps on smudging.
I bought this based on a recommendation for signing photos. Tested it on a junk print. Let it dry 2 hours; it totally smudged when wiped. Let another signature dry 24 hours; still smudged almost as badly as the first. Shame because it gives very pretty results, but obviously if the ink won't actually hold, then it's no good to use.Sad, now I don't know what to do for signing dark prints...

Perfect thin metallic pinstripe
Was trying to find a way to do a thin metallic pinstripe on some furniture I was refinishing, and this worked better than expected.

Best Oil Based Marker Pen
I have been trying to find a pen brand to sign my lithographs and prints with, where the ink drys quickly --that way customers at conventions and shows can move on and I can assist anyone else waiting. This drys withing 60 seconds, even on aqueous coatings or glossy varnishes.

Worked about 4 times.
The marker produced a good, shiny silver line the first few times I used it. I only wrote about six or seven words. After that, I didn't use it for a few months. When I tried again, it worked intermittently, sometimes not writing at all, and other times leaking a large silver blot. It felt about 3/4 full when I discarded it.

Doesn't write
Doesn't work. Ink doesn't flow despite shaking it up well.
