Before I got this rack, my garage was a testament to the fact that lumber, if left unchecked, will breed. My two-by-fours were having two-by-four babies, and my plywood sheets were leaning against each other in a dangerous game of Jenga. I was one wrong move away from being flattened by a falling avalanche of reclaimed barn wood. I needed an intervention, and this rack was it. The unboxing was a bit like a treasure hunt—the instructions and the rack were there, but the mounting hardware was not. It was as if Bora was saying, "You're a DIYer, aren't you? Go on, you've got this. Find some bolts. We believe in you." And they were right. A quick trip to the hardware store and I was armed and ready. Assembly was a breeze, which was a relief because I've assembled flat-pack furniture that made me question my own intelligence. This rack, however, just made sense. It went up on the wall, and suddenly, my chaotic lumber pile became a well-organized library of future projects. The mess was gone, replaced by a sense of order so profound my wife came into the garage and said, "What did you do with the rest of the wood?" It's all there, honey. It's just... civilized now. This rack is so sturdy, it’s not just holding lumber—it's holding my sanity. I've got oak, maple, and pine all neatly stacked, and I can actually find what I need without pulling a muscle. Four stars. It turned my garage from a danger zone into a showpiece. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'll go stare at my beautifully organized wood for a while. It's a therapeutic experience.

We now have 3 (two of them recent purchases) of these racks set up in our garage holding all manner of lumber. They install quickly and can hold a considerable amount of weight per shelf. I installed them directly into studs using 3 1/2" screws and they have been rock solid. 2x4's, molding, shiplap, decking, 2x6's and even 4x4's, it's all been stored on these things. The only thing you need to be careful of (in my experience) is your spacing of the racks. If you are going to try holding longer boards/items, I would recommend placing a 3rd rack in the middle for added center support. Also, you may want to pick up some 1x12" board to make shelves for any smaller items. Solid item though, good enough that I came back and bought more of them

I have a full wall of lumber storage using at least six pairs of these. They are great. They don't bow, they're easy to assemble, the wood that's been stacked there hasn't warped a millimeter and some of it's been on the rack for five years. I'm adding similar lumber storage to a different wall in my shop and ordered three new pairs of these for it. I have never in my life received products so damaged and clearly used. In one of the three boxes the bags that contain the screws were ripped open so the screws were loose (and missing a few). The box had external rips to it that someone had just taped over. Many, MANY of the plastic inserts in the ends of the shelf pieces were smashed, but were smashed in such a way that transit damage wasn't likely to be the culprit. I don't think Bora did this. When I peeled off the shipping label to put on my label to send it back to Amazon there was someone else's shipping label underneath, so one of the boxes had clearly been a returned item. However, the other two were also damaged and they didn't have any previous labels—I don't know. It feels like Amazon is poorly re-packaging open-box and returned items and shipping them out as new. Take your business someplace else.

What I like: -Solid frame -Easy to put together -Easy to install on the wall *It says 4-6' apart. I did 5' and it's a little long and sags if I were to do it again 4'. I am probably going to make a permanent shelf on each rack so it supports sagging and small pieces

Fantastic racks that have proven invaluable in helping organize my garage/workspace. The design means they assemble smoothly; the components are sturdy; and the mounting is easy. The lack of included mounting screws wasn't an issue on my end - I'd have wanted to choose my own anyway. (For reference: 3 screws per vertical piece, 3" to 4" long, size #12 or #14.) Some of the plastic endcaps were broken in my package but I contacted the company and they went above and beyond to rectify this minor cosmetic issue. Judging by the changes/improvements of the replacement parts, it seems to have been a problem that they have since addressed globally for these racks - my originals likely were just part of older pre-packaged stock. Thanks again, folks.
