Great value, healthier, vegan protein
I've tried a lot of different vegan protein brands. This one is great for its price point, very natural, doesn't leave you with an artificial after taste, it's not too sweet and mixes well! The milder flavour is good if you are using it in smoothies, on its own (I can't stomach the strong fake flavours of other proteins) or for overnight oats and you can always add a bit of date syrup or cinnamon to it! I especially love the ingredients list, it's simple and everything you need without any weird ingredients.

Clean
Pros ...Great vanilla flavour, and very clean ingredients compared to lots of other vegan protein powders. The vanilla flavour is quite strong but this suits me as I add a lot of green powder to my shakes for their Alkaline properties .Cons... a little pricey and quite hard to get on a regular basis "at time of writing, out of stock ".Overall great product.

Good Protein Powder
I have tried a few vegan protein powders before and this is the best one I have had so far! I have the cocoa/chocolate one, and in my opinion it is better when baked into food rather than drank as it tastes more like raw cocoa than chocolate. Overall though, it has a decent flavour, good texture and no issues with clumping. I also like how they use minimal ingredients and include vitamin B12 in there, which is especially important for vegans/vegetarians.

OK
It's a bit too powdery for me. But I will try adding Bananas or other things to get rid of the texture. The flavour is ok though

Clean mean protein
I have tried so many protein shakes and this one is definitely the best so far. I have a few sensitivities, so I try and go for powders that are as additive free as possible. I also avoid powders that are chock full of soy or flax as these tend to unbalance my hormones. On its own this powder has a mild vanilla flavour and isn’t too sweet. But to make it more filling, I add some kind of fruit and a scoop of oats. I don’t feel the needs to add any honey or extra sweetness. It’s gentle on the digestion and has a nice texture after blending. Looking forward to trying the caramel flavour next!

Great!
Vanilla one tastes amazing, and it's only made of 4 natural ingredients and a natural sweetener, Stevia. Fantastic quality product! The whey powders always made me have a weird feeling in my head and bloated, but these I've had not problem with after workouts 💪🏻

Bean flavoured protein
I've been trying various vegan powders in an attempt to reduce whey consumption. This was tbe latest, and had exactly the same result - it was so revolting that although I tried to persevere the bag went in the bin before I was a third of the way through it.I was hoping this one would be different, having such a high vanilla content, but nope. The smell of vanilla promises great thing when the bag is opened for the first time, but after blending / mixing you are left with the merest hint of vanilla, overwhelmingly crowded out by the main ingredients, so this smells and tastes of its main ingredient: dried peas and beans.I have yet to try a vegan powder that didn't come close to making me retch, and unfortunately, this joins the club.

At last
I tried a few different non-vegan protein powders, switching due to stomach upsets. Then I heard the reason might be due to additives and was advised to look at vegan powders, as they typically have fewer additives.I did my research, looking at the ingredients for a few different brands, and Roots n Shoots had the briefest ingredients list, which I thought was a good sign!I’ve been using it for 6 months now and the stomach troubles that I’d get after drinking the non-vegan shakes have gone. I can drink a shake of this stuff and not have to worry about the after affects! Some notes: the flavours are a bit different to the non-vegan ones, precisely because there are fewer additives. That said, the cacao flavour does taste like cacao (different to chocolate, richer a slightly more bitter than chocolate), and the salted caramel flavour is nice and sweet without tasting too artificial. You do get a very small hint of bean flavour if you drink them straight up with water, more so with the chocolate flavour, but the taste is still good. If you combine into a fruit smoothie they taste fantastic. Also to note: the caramel flavour mixes better than the cacao flavour; but both need more water to mix properly than the non-vegan shakes I tried.I’m really really happy I found this brand, they seem really honest and the product is really good.
