Just to start it... to me it's just perfect. ..... Very satisfied with the quality and construction of this box, compartments have enough room for big size watches. Four of my watches are 50 - 52 mm. and they fit perfect in this case.. The look is pleasant to my eyes and the overall construction is very good ...! Highly recommended, don't pay attention to those reviews that found microscopic defects to complain about and about the dust and marks on the clear window that is nothing to worry about, I just used a clean cloth and Isopropyl Alcohol just don't put too much pressure on it, ooh brother ... the window looks crystal clear now.

This is very nice and keeps my watches clean organized and on display so I can choose which one to wear each day. I ended up having to order two to hold all of them but im happy I did it looks great

Update:By now I own six or seven of these as my collection has gotten completely out of hand. I think these cases--five- and ten-slot--might be the best out there for respective prices. I had a clearance problem with just one watch, which is an Invicta impossible to tighten down. In fact, it's the fact that I've purchased so many more large-size Invictas that has forced me to buy more of these cases. And it's not ONLY about the cost for them. They do look great and have sturdy, really large-size slots for large watches, which are the kind I most like. Plus, these cases are well-hinged, which cannot be said for lots of other cases.I've also purchased more of the five-slot cases.I do have one complaint that I should add to this review in general, and that has to do with the packaging for these things. The case is inside a form-fitting, light cardboard box that is in turn shipped in a slightly larger, stiffer cardboard box. Why not begin with just one heavy-weight cardboard box and then just ship it in that? And while at it, loose the cheap styrofoam 0.5" boards that surround the case. Those are especially irritating because they can neither be recycled nor removed without small pieces of it making for a small blizzard across one's carpet upon removing the case from the inner box. I HATE styrofoam and that includes so-called "popcorn," though that's not as bad as this board stuff used by so many manufacturers. Use something else people who make and package these things.Original review:Finally really big compartments that hold my giant Invictas, along with a couple Swiss Legends and one Elini Barokas giant I really needed this as all the other boxes I've bought just don't have large enough compartments so as to keep crowns from scraping the other sides of watches next to them. Plus this box comes with very soft pillows, much softer than are in my other boxes. That makes things easier too.I've about filled this thing already, which has given me a lot more room in my other boxes for my smaller watches.Though the lid is acrylic and not glass, this box is well worth the fairly low price I paid. It's not constructed quite so nicely as my five-compartment boxes, but these drawbacks are compensated for by the size of the compartments. It's just fine until the day I feel like paying hundreds for a really sweet big box instead of on another watch or two.

I really am so thrilled with this purchase. The value is fantastic. This same box in another color sells for $10 more. I searched Google and many that look exactly like this one sell for way over $100. They may have more expensive materials but this box sits in one place and except for opening and closing it there is nothing that can go wrong with the construction.I have 10 watches and most of them ( Michael Kors) have a 38/9 millimeter face which is 1 1/2 inches wide.. One is 43 millimeters. I placed my husband's Seiko in it and it fits perfectly but I'm not sharing. I purchased this because the reviews said it is very spacious and it is. I even have room on the side of a watch to store the little packet with the links removed from my watch band..I like to pull out the stem after taking my watch off to save the battery. Some times I may not wear that same warch again for a while. There is plenty of room so that nothing touches the stem to push it back in which always used to happen in the original box. When the box is closed there is space in between the watch and the lid..The box is a beautiful rich black color without any scratches. This couldn't have been packaged more carefully. The black color is very shiny. I had no problem with any residue on the clear plastic. I wiped it with a damp tissue and it couldn't be any clearer. If you don't touch it, it looks like glass. My only disappointment was that my husband saw all my watches stored in the box and said "Now you don't have room for anymore watches". We'll see about that..I can't recommend this highly enough..
