Feels & Costs Luxurious, But What's In It?
There is a lot to like about this cuticle oil. The texture is silky and ever-so-slightly viscous. It seems to soak into the cuticle and nail, leaving a soft sheen on the surface of the nail. I find the fragrance to be natural and warm. It smells, as indicated, like cloves (in fact, there is a clove in the bottle, infusing the product). Apparently, the scent of clove is polarizing, but I am definitely on the pro-clove side of the issue; I find clove scent to be both stimulating and soothing, and reminiscent of Christmas (orange with cloves, anyone?).I am a cuticle picker, and the claim that the clove has numbing/soothing properties seems to be true. An application of the oil can help alleviate the sort of enticing itchy pain associated with my picking - the feeling that makes picking seem rewarding. I can't say that it has cured my picking at all, but it does help control the urge to keep at it until my finger are throbbing and sore/bloody. My unscientifically verifiable experience with oil seems too indicate that the oil tones down the redness and speeds up healing. The negative points, for me, are cost and ingredients. To clarify the ingredients issue, I have to say that I don't object to any of the ingredients per se, but the label lists no ingredients, so how am I going to make an informed assessment. The label claims that the product is organic, and contains "a secret blend of clove infused nut oils." I can verify the clove, since I can see it in the bottle, but I can't assess the organic quality, or have any way of knowing if the product also contains something like extract of Siberian tiger anal glands or something. I doubt it given that that efficacy of that as a health and beauty ingredient is, I presume, not really known (I thin). I just wouldn't want to be applying some ingredients for ethical or health concerns. The other stumbling block I have is the price. The bottle is marked at $14.75, which seems pricey to me, especially since I don't have a clue about the ingredients. It's currently a bit cheaper on Amazon, but still kind of pricey for a cuticle treatment Since I run through cuticle oils at a slow pace, the cost isn't extremely problematic for me. I like supporting small businesses, and I like the quality and scent of the oil, but its not verifiably organic, nor is it a miracle cure (if it eliminated redness, itching, and all pickable skin forever, the price would not faze me a bit). Hardcore nail oil users might balk at the price, though. All in all, I like the oil a lot. The consistency and fragrance are a big plus for me, and as long as I have some splurge money in my beauty budget, I am likely to buy again. The touted numbing qualities seem to be as advertised, though there is no guarantee that the ingredients are all fabulous and certified organic. Great product, with a few quibbles, in my opinion.

Excellent Product - Great Customer Service!
This is a lovely product. It does have a faint scent of cloves, but it's not unpleasant and I'd rather have that than some chemical smell. It makes my cuticles feel softer just about instantly, and it lasts for a couple of days ( and I have my hands in water a lot so it may have a longer effect for other people). But the customer service can be an important part of the buying experience too, so I thought I'd add my own. This product arrived promptly with some extra coupons for money off (fifteen bucks, not to be sneezed at). So a couple of weeks later when I had some time I checked out their website to see what else they offered. There are quite a few products but since I wasn't familiar with them, I was happy to see they offer samples at a minimal cost. I ordered several of these to try out with my coupon. When I placed the order, I got the now familiar instant email confirmation, but this was followed up by a personal email maybe an hour later saying they had just shipped my products! The items arrived in just a day or two.In addition to this, I also received another email saying that they noticed I had ordered samples and might like the link they provided to a chart showing how and when to use the various creams etc.Very pleased and impressed Queen Bee!~keep up the good work!(They did not request that I write this review nor was the coupon dependent on writing any review)

Finally, a cuticle oil that WORKS!!!!!
This would be 5 Stars except this last bottle that I bought had a kind of weird smell that wasn't in the first bottle, but that's not a deal breaker for me because THIS STUFF WORKS!!!!!!!!!!I have incredibly dry skin, along with 3 different kinds of eczema (just to give you an idea) and I've never had any luck with cuticle oils, until now!!!! This stuff not only works quickly to repair my damaged cuticles, but it also help them sover time to get better and better, and I don't always have to use it every day. I'm telling you, it's like a miracle.Definitely a "Must Have" for any woman/girl or gentleman ;-)

Fragrant and light oil that works superbly
I had been told that "Solar Oil" was probably the best product to use for cuticles, but I had done a little research about other brands. I have dry skin on some of my fingers that cause my fingertips to split and crack open like tiny paper cuts, and sometimes that dryness will extend down the sides of a few fingers & my thumbs.I had been to the dermatologist to have this condition treated. I've used the steroid creams & ointments, taken antibiotics, have had allergy testing -- and no allergies were detected, and the medications had not worked.I am not sensitive to the chemicals used for artificial nails or the nail gels. I have gone months between manicures, wearing gloves while doing housework & washing dishes, garden gloves for gardening, work gloves for heavier tasks. My fingers still got "the crud" despite wearing lotions at night with cotton gloves on.When I purchased the Bee Nuts! Organic Cuticle Oil, I had intended to use it only on my dry cuticles. But I had split skin on one thumb, and my index fingers had tiny cuts and peeling skin. I brushed the oil on my boo-boos. To my amazement, the condition of my skin improved within two days, and healed up pretty well by day 5. (I have tried baby oils, petroleum jelly, vitamin E... so oil itself was not helping.) Oh, and my cuticles are looking mighty fine too.It really **IS** better than Solar Oil.The Bee Nuts! oil is fragrant with a light spiced aroma, like cloves.I thought at first that it was a bit expensive, but I have been very happy with this product. Like I said, it conditions my cuticles beautifully, and helped a frustrating and painful dry skin condition.
