Good transmitivity
This moves quite a bit of light. It's important to get the light source and fiber end lined up.Keep it coiled- the cladding will break if you bend it too sharply at a point.If you cut this- you might need/want to polish the cut end. I had pretty good luck by cutting at a small angle and using wet/dry paper wet. Mostly, I just use the full length and coil it.

Exactly what I needed
I recently ordered fiber optic lights for my truck. Upon install I realized I needed around 100 more that were the same length. So I went with these and it was exactly what I ordered.

Do not trust this product. Fibers are inconsistent sizes.
