I chose this canister because it was airtight and was a beautiful combination of glass and bamboo. I loved and have used the original one I bought a few years ago so much that I've bought quite a few of these on repeat. This size is especially great - it's large enough for me to transfer a whole bag of flour and keep it fresh while looking pretty in my pantry. It's easy to use, and I just pop the glass part in the lower dishwasher rack, leave the bamboo lid on the top rack. No problems! They even include a gray rubber "foot" that slips over the bottom edge of the glass portion, so that it doesn't slide around and keeps it from clanking on a hard surface. I usually place the "foot" on the bottom but don't always - it's great either way. Terrific airtight storage that's also lovely and made of natural materials.

I purchased this to keep my new favorite coffee pods fresh since they’re not in traditional plastic kcups, but’s hybrid filter design. I had been using a Ziploc bag, but it looks so unappealing in the morning. I had seen somebody else use a similar jar so I decided to buy this one and it did not disappoint. I was worried it wasn’t gonna be big enough, but it holds 40 of these old San Francisco Bay coffee pods with room to spare!And the rubber seal keeps everything fresh.! I love it already and glad that I bought it

These are well designed and executed jars, sturdy package so they arrived intact. I’m ordering more. The lids fit snug, the bottom rubber support is an excellent idea, and the capacity is perfect for flour that’s my intended use, two thumbs up.

Great size for bigger pantry items like flour and sugar. Good seal and quality product. I would suggest stacking as the top is slick. Since it’s glass it’s very easy to clean.

I just got this item and filled it with herbs that I use on a regular basis and have in large amounts. Didn’t hold as much as I hoped but that is my fault. The spoon was an added bonus but was broken with a chip on the spoon end. Haven’t figured out where to store these yet as the circumference is large, but they are beautiful so I want them to be visible. They come with pre-printed labels for generic items, but I used my own labels as none of them matched what I needed.I can report later to see if they hold the freshness of the dried herbs I put in them. The lids were very difficult to remove at first, but we want a good seal! I like the silicone rubber stoppers for the bottoms to keep them more safe from sliding around. Thank you

It looks really nice however I did think it would be larger the 5.9 inch holds about one and less than half of the small boxes of cereal. I was hoping It would fit 2. Also, I’m not sure how airtight it is. The lid does seem to be a bit loose. so I’m not sure how fresh it will keep my cereal but other than that it looks great

I have bought several things to hold sugar and flour. I do not like the taste of any food that’s been stored in plastic. My flour will pick up that smell and it transfers to my food.This has kept my flour fresh and improved the taste of my cookies and cakes.The cork top fits nicely and so far has kept out humidity even while this is next to my stovetop boiling potatoes. They seem to be as sturdy as any glass. I wouldn’t recommend throwing it on the floor.It’s light enough to move from the pantry to the work top. The top is great. I put scoops in it and it’s wide enough to scoop in. Enough space and very easy to do

It is not quite large enough to hold 4lbs of flour, I use gluten free flour that comes in 2lb bags and it doesn't quite hold two bags. Not a deal breaker for me. I use so much that I typically don't have any left over.The lid is airtight, I put water in it and tried it out prior to use. And although it fits snugly it is not difficult to remove or replace. The opening is wide enough that it is easy fill and access the contents. The gasket on the bottom makes it non-slip and stackable, although I wouldn't trust that it would not fall if bumped. I have sufficient counter space and do not stack mine.I didn't care for the labels that came with them so I printed my own.
