Bruno Marc Men's Suede Leather Lace Up Oxfords Chukka Ankle Boots

At first glance, the shoes look incredible and the fit is as expected. The suede leather smells great, the insole is confortable and the sole feels solid. Only thing i notice is that the sole is apparently glued to the upper part of the shoes, not stitched, but for a shoe on this range of price it is ok..I will update the review after i wer them for a couple of days.08-August-2017These boots are incredible, really confortable and i dont know why, but i find them more beautiful every time i wear them.At first i gave them 4 stars, but after wear them more times, they really desearve the 5 stars.

The boots run a bit on the large size, maybe by 0.5 size (US). That said, it's not a big enough difference that I felt I needed to exchange them and I was unsure if the 10 would be too snug for the style. Anyway, the comfort is great despite this. There is adequate support in the sole with just enough cushion and arch support. Not so stiff as to be painful but not so much as to cause fatigue. Being on my feet all day in these at work felt just fine and so did walking several miles out shopping with the wife. The suede doesn't breathe incredibly well, but that's suede for you. Still comfortable and not overly hot.The look is great as well. The heel is not wood with rubber on top/below. It's just rubber that is textured and colored like wood, so be aware of that. Not a problem, but this is definitely a casual boot. The dark brown color is awesome. Not as grey as in the pictures, more like a dark chocolate or coffee color. Not red-brown, but not as grey/black as they appear. Really nice shade. Good thick quality suede, too. I'd consider buying more in a different color. The navy and the grey look cool. Not a fan of the brogued ones so I'm definitely glad I opted for the plain. Clean, classic look without being overstated. I'm excited to see how these hold up!

Great looking boots, and very comfortable fit. I read the reviews prior to purchasing the pair, and I am glad that I did. Several had insisted the shows ran about a size larger than what they usually wear, and in this case it was true. I am typically a size 12, but ordered the elevens based of the previous buyers feedback, and they fit perfect. Had I ordered the 12s they would have been way too large. Great shoe, very comfortable, and durable. Just make sure to order one size smaller than you typically do to get the right fit!

I just got a pair of the desert style chukkas(not the zip up or wingtip) from Amazon today. Tried them on and decided to return because they were a little small for me, and the color was off from the pictures. I typically wear a wide, but took a chance. Yep, too small. They actually fit alright once on, the problem was with getting them on my foot. I would have needed to unlace them every time I put them on. So, unfortunately, I had to send them back. ...and it really is unfortunate, because I was really impressed by the quality of these boots for the price. Even though there are some faux aspects to the construction, like with the sole, they felt pretty high quality. I was also surprised to find they actually had some nice support in the footbed. I found them very comfortable. I usually plan on adding an insert to cheaper shoes like this to make them comfortable enough for me, but I don't think I would have needed them with these. I'd be very interested in more Marc Bruno shoes, based on what I saw with these, if they just had a W/EE option. If you can wear a standard/narrower width boot, I don't think you'll find better than these for the price. ...Dear Marc Bruno, offer W/EE options please.

I have several pairs of shoes and boots. The reviews for this Chukka is what helped me make the decision to purchase and I'm NOT sorry. My left foot is a 10.5 4E or EW and right is a 10.5 E. Not to mention my instep (top of the foot) is higher than my left. I also have higher arches. When I first put on the shoes I realized I needed more arch support, but that's normal for me. I slipped in a pair of Superfeet Carbon and fixed. The left was tight at first, but after wearing a few times and straight lacing the boots i liked them so much I ordered two more pairs. (Black & Sand) The sizing is true for a Chukka. Meaning, if you wear a 10.5 riser a 10.5. The toe box is always a little long on Chukkas to give them a soft look. Hope this helps.

I bought this shoe in Nov 2019 as my daily driver for work, this and a Gray. I am a doctor and I have to do much walking around the hospital. I do everything in this shoe. When it gets messy, I get a brush and it cleans with ease.The other surprising thing was the how long it lasted and is still lasting and the absence of creases in the toes, as I do much bending. I dyed it a few months back and people thought it was a new shoe, lol. In Jamaica, the most common suede shoe is Clarks, and everyone things I am wearing Clarks. I have to educate them, sometimes in disbelief I have to show them the order or literally pull my shoe off and show the brand.It was a worth while purchase.Update November 15 2020I am still wearing these shoes as daily drivers. The sole has been holding up...almost as if I don't use them.

Nice and stylish desert boot. Not much arch support but I have come to terms with the fact that desert boots usually don't have good arch support. But these have a tad bit more than my Clark's, which I've worn for 50 years. I just thought I'd try a different brand and these are great...and less expensive than my Clarks.

Nice boot and nice style , a bit narrow in foot but expected that after reading previous reviews , but they are comfortable and good sole on them how long they last I guess is up to the wear and tear you give them but very stylish boots for all occasions

Not bad. Will not last forever. Ok for a night out and will probably last a few more. They are a tight fit.

carefully packaged boots have thier own wee bag to keep them from rubbing against each other very comfortable on the feet & the look good could easily be mistaken for a more expensive pair of boots got many compliments about them only had them 2 days...will order again will just see how long they last 1st..

A well made shoe which is of great quality and fits well.It is sized 10 but this equates to the American sizing and is a perfect euro size 9
