DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!
The tip of this pill-popper is not secure and it went down my cat's throat along with the pill. $5000 for an emergency endoscopy to get it out!! I wish I was kidding, this has been a complete nightmare. If you buy a pill popper, get a different one that has the rubber tip securely glued on so it does not pop off. This one comes with 2 tips that can be removed and replaced, so it is NOT secure. Horrible product. The emergency vet said the pill poppers they use have tips that do not come off unless they are chewed off, which never happens.

Did Not Work
The silicone tip to hold the pill did not safely stay on the syringe, so I was afraid to inject the pill in case it went down my dog's throat. I would not purchase again and have thrown the purchase in the bin. It was too much of a hassle to return.

Rethink when someone asks you to get one of these
The silicone tip came off while administering chemo to my cat. Not only was she having to endure cancer treatments, she swallowed this. Vets may recommend you getting one but I caution anyone that does. There are advantages and MAJOR disadvantages in using these. With my baby, she was so gentle and easy to deal with I am angry that I ever used this product. I am angry that the Vets recommended this as well, with the gentle nature of my baby. It eventually came out of her system but I was stressed for 5 days thinking about this, and that stress in turn was transferred to my baby. I am sure there are better designed products but I wish I never got this one.

Cheap quality
Use this to try to give my little dog a Benadryl tablet and it was just a mess from the beginning. The first problem was that the syringe is so cheaply made that it doesn’t draw/hold any water. It all falls through the syringe. Then when I finally got some water in the syringe, I attached the tip designed to hold the tablet to the syringe. After I carefully put the tip to the back of my dog’s throat I applied the medication only to have water spray everywhere and even almost had the dog swallow the plastic tip. This product is ineffective and unsafe. Spend the few extra dollars for some quality if you care for your pet.

Blue version terrible
Have purchased this in the red multiple times for giving meds to my 17 year old cat. Bought the blue to help differentiate between new and old. The blue was unusable. Silicon tip with slits for holding the pills was cut weirdly and just doesn't work. Not sure if I am going to try the red again or order something else entirely.

Does the job and with the extra tips you can keep a clean dry one ready while another is air drying.
Pilling a cat in never easy but with this applicator which it says can also be used for liquid our cat tolerates the process much better--less traumatic for all. Don't have to pry his jaws open to use.

It is not user friendly...
I was very disappointed with these animal med delivery system. The end is not flexible..like in flexible to hold a tablet or half a tablet of antibiotic for my cat. I tried slicing the end and it didn't help. I am going to a vet site and buy a "real" tablet pusher

flimsy
It's nicely packaged. But, it doesn't work well at all. It's awkward to use and only managed to make my cat angry. So, back to putting the pill in her mouth with my finger. a whole lot easier for the both of us.
