After a night of debauchery, veteran Mat Best (Not A War Story) wakes up to an interrogation by his lawyer (William Shatner, Star Trek). While he and his four military buddies are in prison, they learn that a Zombie apocalypse arrived while they were passed out. Armed only with billy clubs and their military experience, they stage an all-out war on the Zombies and, by accident, may have found the cure along the way. Their boss Colonel Holloway (Keith David, The Nice Guys) informs them that the only place they can synthesize the cure is Range 15, an isolated facility some 300 miles away, through a Zombie-infested desert. Colonel Holloway sends narcissist super-soldier Gene Vandenham (Ross Patterson, Not a War Story) to lead the mission, and Pilot Grigsby (Sean Astin, The Lord of the Rings) to help as the Zombies (Danny Trejo, Machete) get faster every hour.

Military humor at its finest!
If you don't know veteran humor or how bad it can be you might not appreciate this movie. But to the rest of us this is a laugh fest from beginning to end. The boys (Mat Best, Nick Palmisciano, Jarred Taylor, Jack Mandaville, and Vincent “Rocco” Vargas) are in a drunk tank when they discover the zombie apocalypse has happened. From the time they get out of the jail, run into other veterans, fight zombies, and work their way to Range 15 it is one hilarious situation after another. Finding the cure and getting overshadowed by Sergeant Major Gene Vadenham (Ross Patterson) are just some of the hurdles our guys have to overcome. Roles are played by William Shatner, Keith David, Danny Trejo, Dale Dye, Sean Astin and many many veterans such as Marcus Luttrell, Evan Hafer, Clinton Romesha, Leroy Petry, Tim Kennedy, and so many more.

Great concept movie!
Please note this is not a family movie. The concept of this movie is great using real veterans.Being a Marine Corps veteran I can see the military humor you can only appreciate if you’ve served.many non-veterans may not think this movie is that great but if you’ve served you’ll probably love it.It is completely over the top and reminds me of them long boring hours on duty where any kind of humor goes.

Don't think about it anymore just buy this movie. Prepare to have a side ache from laughing so much.
Excellent movie. One of the dumbest movies ever made and at the same time one of the funniest movies ever made LOL. If you are not overly sensitive and you'd love to laugh this is a movie for you to see. Not political nor is it politically correct - just funny!
