I bought this for my mom and she absolutely loved this. It helps her so much. It’s easy to put up and is very sturdy. I highly recommend this product.

I Was Hoping It Folded So the Seat Would Show Instead of the Underneath. Otherwise Great.

This chair is perfect if your shower is large enough. Unfortunately, I installed it in our small shower and, even when folded up, it did not leave enough room for me to shower. It projects about 3 1/2 to 4" from the wall when it is folded up. It worked great for my disabled wife when folded down. If my shower was 12" longer it would be perfect. I had to remove it and use a free-standing shower chair which is a pain in the neck to put in and take out of the shower, depending on who is showering. The instructions say that at least one (I think) of the eight screws should screw into a wall stud. There are eight screws and I did not screw any of the eight into a stud. They are all screwed into the provided inserts that are installed in holes that I drilled in the ceramic tiles. The eight screws are all in shear with very little, if any, tension on the screws. After the installation I sat on the chair and gave it some robust load tests. It was solid as a rock.

After a month the metal painted parts started peeling and rusting

It doesn't line up with the wall studs. So worried it will pull out of the wall. But it folds up nice and out of the way
