I'm 78 and lift weights to stay in shape. The free weights strain my old thumb joints. These straps transfer the weight from my thumbs and spare the thumb joints. Good fit; sturdy; durable.

Love these things fast for those heavy lifts. Already used them with 605 on the bar and they held up great and they are comfy.

I can't believe these people are getting away with this product. They're endorsed by the top bodybuilders (promotional SCAM). I gave it a first pass when it smelled like the worst strongest chemical I've ever allowed into my home ~ making my head hurt and nauseous. Fine, I aired them out for 30+ hours. Second pass (they arrived 6 days late.) Third pass the ergonomics and material are so hard, the grip is WORST on weightlifting bars. My hands were fatiguing earlier on the last reps than WITHOUT these. Fourth and final, causing me to finally actually write a review, these things will PEEL BLACK TAR onto your hands. The kind that smells and leaves a residue on the bar. The people sharing the machines right after complained about the chemical smell and getting that black chemical on THEIR hands. Completely embarrassing, terrible experience. Gymreapers, if you're listening, scrap this inventory you're doing the world of bodybuilding a DISSERVICE and having the gall to charge $40. First gymreaper product and last for me.

Works well!!! No more tension in my metacarpals

These grips work well, and comfortable, etc. The problem is that the velcro completely wore out in only 7 months of use 2-3 times a week. There are bald patches of loops in my velcro and they can hold practically no weight above my own grip.Unless you're able and willing to replace the velcro every 6 months, just buy a pair of Versa Gripps unless you're lifting casually.
