I bought a cheap pair of waterproof hiking boots this winter for when it was wet and/or sloppy outside. The boots exceeded by expectations in terms of quality (they're ugly as sin, though) but one of the laces shredded on the metal lace holders (eyelets? is that the right term?). Anyway, these laces look identical to the ones that came with my boots by are obviously much better quality. That was obvious out of the packaging. I've been using them for over a month now and had plenty of days I've worn the boots. I have had no issues at all with the laces. They are now showing signs of wear, the weave of the outer material of the laces is still tight, and they stay tied. Really good product and good value.

I bought those laces to replace the one that broke on my Columbia hiking shoes. They look just like the originals and seem to be of good quality, the laces don't loosen as I walk, unlike the replacements I bought at a local cobbler.
