Fun little work bench with lots of extras
Oh my gosh, this is so cute! I love all the tools and accessories that come with this set! The "working" drill, the hard hat, face mask and goggles, all the tools...it even comes with a c clamp, and a table vise! The portability feature is nice, but it does come at a price...its less sturdy when assembled. But this thing has a handle and wheels so it can be rolled around like a suitcase! It's also a little smaller than I expected, but it's perfect for 2-3 year old heights! The tools and other accessories seem durable and nicely made. It even has a working tape measure with a cloth tape that can be pulled out to measure up to 12 inches, and then manually retracted/rewound. I do wish that the red pegs used to hang up the tools were more secure when "installed", but I think they are meant for easy on/off so they tend to fall off if bumped or get stuck on the tools easily when removing. All in all this a fun little set for kids.

Sturdy product that my little boy is loving!
Overall, I think the product is great. The pieces seem sturdy and well put together. The workbench is a good height for my two year old and then when he wants to take it to grandma's house, it can be taken down and reassembled into a "suitcase" with rolling wheels. The instructions were a bit lacking but there was nothing that I couldn't figure out by looking at the box that the toy came in. My little guy has been so excited to have his own set of tools that he can use to help me with my projects and I don't have to worry about him taking one of my screwdrivers to the walls while I am not watching. His favorite tool has been the working drill. He has been swapping out the different bits and fixing everything in the house. He won't leave home without a few different tools going with him in the car. There are a lot of pieces and my son can use the screws and nuts to build things with the blocks that were included. He always makes sure to wear his hat, goggles, and mask so that he is just like the construction crew that he sees building the house next door every day. Like I said, I think the work bench has been great and with as much as my boy has played with it already, i'd say it was a good purchase. I'd replace it if anything ever happened to it.

Lots of pieces-Hard to assemble.
It has a great variety and is a good value for the money. That being said, the pieces are cheap and don’t stay on the bench well at all so it’s messy. I was looking forward to everything having a place. The drill and tape measure are the main hits (I have a 3 and 4 year old). It’s not easy to transform and was very tedious and somewhat confusing to put together. My husband is extremely savvy in this area and my brother in law is a board certified general surgeon- it was a sight seeing them assemble this thing Christmas morning!!!!I’m pleased with the purchase for their age, but it could be better quality and I will look for something more durable in the next year or so. It’s not very functional as a bench itself and most of the toys are better used individually on other things.

Toddler son loves it, copying me working in the garage
I do a lot of do-it-yourself work in the garage cutting boards, screwing nails, taking things apart or putting them together, and making measurements. Ever since my son turned 3 years old, I have seen him copying me -- at first, with a measuring tape. I found that very, very CUTE. Now he is always eager to try to help me, and I will let him whenever it is safe for him to be near me.For his 4th birthday, I wanted to grab a construction set so he could set up shop of his own, hopefully helping to stimulate his DIY skills so he becomes handy as he grows. This old man here can only do so much before my body starts to give in :)PROS- Complete set of tools (hammer, drill, wrenches, screwdrivers, clamp, safety goggles, screws, saw, etc)- Portable/packable (suitcase, trolley, or workbench modes)- Sturdy ABS plastic- Drill actually is electric and can drive screws into the workbench- Excellent priceCONS- Pieces could get easily get lost as they float freely within the carry case- Drill has no overtightening protection. As such, the screw could potentially damage the clutch over time- The safety mask could fog up. Apply some tooth paste to the glass and wipe clean to help with thatOverall, this is an excellent, inexpensively-priced tool kit. I absolutely love watching my son try to copy me and hope he will grow to become a self-sufficient man who is not afraid to fix/build/take apart things. If you found this review helpful, please click the "Helpful" button below to encourage me to write more. Could be better and more interactive for kids
Purchased this for my son. Don’t get me wrong he absolutely loves it; well he loves the electric drill. Anyway, the design isn’t that great. There is 4 holes that take the screws and if have the vice clamp on that takes up the 4 holes. They could have put more holes that take the screws onto the top of the workbench. There are play wood pieces that take the screws but they can’t attach to the bench because the holes don’t line up with any of the holes on the bench. Comes with these yellow pieces that have holes in them I have no clue what they are, the screws just fall through it so not quite sure their purpose. Assembly instructions aren’t great. Instructions on how to turn it into a suitcase don’t exist. Comes with stickers that I’ve figured out where 2 go, however the stickers aren’t necessary just stating that.Like I mentioned, my son enjoys it but I think it misses the mark. They could have designed this to be more interactive.

Great for ages 3 to 6
I bought this for my 2 yr old grandson. It would come apart when he leaned on it. I returned for full refund. The company was very good with customer service. This toy would be great for an older child, maybe 3 or 4 yrs. The tools are nice for play. The bench looks great and would be fine if child is old enough to know it's not to climb onto.
