My favorite ink color ever
Beautiful color. Looks really cool when diluted also. I use this ink with dip pens, in my twsbi pen, with a brush and water, and with my watercolor pen brush. Looks good in all of these. Writes nicely too. The paper I use it on most is whatever paper is in the artist creation sketchbooks but it also looks good on coated paper (last pic).

Favorite color
This is my favorite ink out of them all. Doesn't dry up as fast as others and the color is beautiful. Best quality I have found so far.

UPDATE
The glass thread on the bottle neck was partially shattered as I opened it for the first time, and so glass fell out over my desk. Not sure what's up with the quality control for the bottles they're using here, or if the cap had been screwed on ridiculously tight prior. The ink is very good quality. It flows nicely and the colour is very pleasing. Sort of between lavender and a cobalt blue. Not particularly eye catching as a colour, but a stately one that is easy to read and dries well on different papers.

Fancy Schmancy Ink
This ink flows excellently -- I'm using it in a Lamy Safari with an Extra Fine nib. It's maybe a little wetter than I would like, but my pen never skips, and that's great. I was hoping for a paler, more lavender color than this -- the blue tone dominates this ink more than I would have hoped. Still, it's excellent ink. I might try a different color, next time I have a gift certificate to use. The bottle is super classy, and it comes in a very attractive silver box. If you wanted to give a gift to a fountain pen lover, this would be an excellent choice.

Very much like this ink
This is my first Iroshizuku ink and like other Pilot inks I have used you cannot go wrong with it. I knew to expect this ink to behave well but I was hesitant to purchase just based on the color on my screens. Having read that the Ajisai color is a rich blue with a slight purple hint I would have to say that is a very apt description. I find most blue inks boring since they seem to go to the less red/more navy; this one however is very nice. It has good saturation but still has some contrast; when you first look at it is is obviously blue but upon closer study you notice the very slight reddish hue; very nice. Don’t let the color of the label on the box fool you as that color is more purple than the ink really is. Writing with it so far on inexpensive paper it has very little feathering or bleeding; it starts immediately and flows nicely; I would say this is just about perfect in wetness. While I have heard some prowl say this ink is a little expensive, at the $20 point it is only slightly more expensive per ml than normal Pilot namiki refill cartridges/ which are about $5 for a 12ml pack. While it might not be as convenient as those I think the slight extra cost is worth the lovely glass bottle and the handsome color Ajisai is.

High quality ink and good bottle
I am a fountain pen aficionado and came across this ink online. The ink color I purchased was named “Ajisai” (= “Hydrangea” in English). The color is just what I wanted and the ink is high-quality. However, the best thing is the bottle. There’s a little depression at the bottom of it that makes refilling the ink in your fountain pen a breeze. And the cap is easy to screw on.

The ink looks darker here, than it's actually is. It made my ₹300 Click Aristocrat (broad), which is downright scratchy with Camlin ink, somehow writable. I was planning on buying a Lamy Safari (broad), but maybe I will postpone it. Update: I tried it on PaperKraft green impression paper and the colour of the ink is exactly as it is shown on the package. The colour is lighter on PaperKraft paper than on Tomoe River paper. But the paper in PaperKraft is more absorbent so there is slight ghosting, however no feathering. And the paper is smoother than Tomoe River. A broad nib with this ink glides on PaperKraft like butter.

I got the colour Ajisai and it’s not only a gorgeous ink, it’s an excellent ink for writing with fine and extra fine nibs. Very smooth, and the colour pops.

They make great inks, very convenient to buy them off Amazon. They are priced decently here, at least Amazon shipping was free, most pen stores you pay for shipping
