Apparently this unit incorporates a buck/boost regulator so that it can raise or lower the supply voltage. Very useful in battery or vehicle powered applications. My Ubiquiti Nano Loco and LiteBeam devices have had no problems running on this unit.

I use this to power my router in a off grid cabin. work well.
