This is what you need to remove a maf...works great

I so like that, with the largest phillips bit, I could use a ratchet wrench to remove screws, rather than a screwdriver.A neighbor discarded what you see in the picture, and I thought I could dissasemble it and use the wooden pieces elsewhere.Yet, to use a screwdriver would be too hard on my sometimes arthritic hand. So I bought this and easily removed the screws with a ratchet wrench.Being given two of the size I needed was helpful. Thank you. It is a well thought out set of bits. Good quality too.I did have some sockets, from the same manufacturer, to hold the bit. And then the socket I put on my ratchet wrench.There is a piece in this kit I haven't explored. It might have the same purpose as the sockets I made use of today. I just don't know.Well worth the money.

Most people don't realize about these special safety bits. They look like torx bits with hole in the middle. Called tamper proof bits.Actually called torx plus / pantelobe 5 point bits . Torx has 6 points .Every diy or mechanic should have these in tool box for special tamper proof screws and most maf sensor replacement require this bit or most modern cars have these to prevent home mechanics from changing things . For under $10. These will work on many parts and cars and save you hundreds of dollars . Maf sensor alone is $200 part.With these you can remove it from the housing ( Bosch) mostly and clean MAF or map sensor for under $10 vs paying mechanic hundreds to replace or clean .Just follow instructions on crc MAF sensor cleaner spray can . $9 .. + these bits . 👍👍

I keep stripping out the metal in all my other torx+ screws with these bits. Hadn’t had this issue before getting this bit set but got it due to recommendation to use a torx+ bit set. Can’t really knock it though.

Just what I needed, at a good price. Five-star security torx bits were impossible to find locally, even at Lowe's and Harbor Freight. Thank goodness for Amazon!Of course it would be REALLY nice is product manufacturers didn't build equipment with a THOUSAND different fasteners, making us buy all sorts of bits. Hopefully this will be the last time I ever buy bits, as I now own every bit known to man. 😆One small complaint about these, mine are NOT marked with their individual sizes. Not on the bit holder, nor on the bits themselves. No big deal really, I guess I can use my Dremel to engrave the sizes.

Had my parts laid out and was ready to do a Saturday morning project on my Mercedes. I even had the safety Torx bits specified for the job. However, the Torx bits I had were 6 point and not the 5 point required of Mercedes and Porsche - Hello!!! Obviously, could not start the project and looked high and low locally for a Torx 5 point 15 safety bit (small hole in the middle), to no avail. Was fortunate enough to find these on Amazon to save the day (ugh - project)! Within two days Trox bits were in hand and was able to complete project without further incident. Bits are well made, fit is precisely, valued priced as compared to all other offerings and they saved me hundreds of dollars by allowing me to complete my own repair. Thanks Amazon!!!

To be honest, I didn't realize there were 5 point and 6 point secure torx bits. I bought some cheap 5 point secure torx bits from a local computer retail chain only to find them cheaply made and the center holes off center.These were perfect! Solid construction and no "off center" holes. I threw out the cheap ones and kept these. Worth every penny. Extremely happy with the product.

Doesn't work. Initial review is that I tried many of these bits and they were unable to do the job. I'll keep trying but I'd avoid this product.
