It is very difficult to find any kind of meat stick that is sugar-free and gluten-free. I guess that’s why they charge so much for them. I do appreciate the quality of grass fed meet etc.To me they were all rather dry however I think you should feel much better about it is this a traditional slim Jim loaded with sugar and other poor quality ingredientsMy personal favorite flavors are Italian and jalapeño. The turkey sticks are much more dry tasting it then the beef

I've been snacking on these Chomps sticks for quite a while now and am hooked. For a time, I stuck with their Crankin' Cranberry flavor but have tried a few others. Feeling indecisive about flavor choice the last time I went to order these, I saw the variety pack and ordered it immediately.If you're selective about flavors in meat snacks, you might want to home in on one flavor that sounds appealing to you. But if you're not picky, or like myself, like Chomps but can't pick a favorite flavor, the variety pack is the way to go.Through eating this pack, I've found I like every single type of flavor in the pack, though I am still partial to Crankin' Cranberry, but I found I really like Italian Sausage as well.I'm even more hooked on these snacks now and will be back for more soon!

I received a free sample of Chomps original in the mail from Send Me a Sample. My husband and I tried it and were impressed by how tasty it was. I then went onto Amazon Prime and purchased a variety pack so we could try the other flavors. They are all delicious. The meat sticks are a great size, especially for the price. The best part was there was no greasy skin or oily taste like say a slim Jim. We enjoyed it so much that we officially changed brands. Chomps is our new favorite!!!!

No doubt that these are made from quality ingredients. I wish I could give them 5 stars for the ingredients :) I tried a few bits of one...then a few bites of another...then another.... My curiosity got the best of me! Were they all going to taste the same??? I like spicy foods so maybe I have burned my tasted buds off, but all of these except the Cranberry one, taste so similar I could barely detect a difference. If I closed my eyes, and kept all my muscles still, and really concentrated, there was an essence of a difference between the Italian and the jalapeno. The Original Turkey--oh my, that was nasty. (I had to coax the dog into eating that one, and it was a tough sell.) The cranberry one has a little kick to it, but its the flavor I'm least interested in since I'm not a big fan of fruit flavors with savory flavors. Yes, they are mushier than a Slim Jim but that snap is from hardened fat and chemicals (and who knows how long the preservatives allow them to sit on a shelf), so Chomps get a pass on texture But flavor? If you can make one that taste like a Tabasco Slim Jim, I would be an enthusiastic customer for life. I'll buy them to throw in my bag when I'm late for making dinner, but it won't be hard to avoid eating them at other times. I guess that's a plus.

I originally received one of these as an Amazon freebie sample in the mail - who doesn't love free snacks, right? Well, I was surprised that I enjoyed the taste so much and the nutrition information fit right into my current diet plan. My free sample led me to purchase the variety pack and I'm so glad I did.Although they are very soft compared to normal beef sticks, these pack a flavor you don't have to feel guilty about. Thanks so much and please give your marketing team a high five from me.

Okay so let's forget that the ingredients are simple and minimal, that's obvious, but skip to the taste. OMG. Growing up eating slim Jim's and all the other overly processed greasy salty sticks, Chomps steps up to the plate and smacks it out of the park! Unlike the ingredients, the taste is not simple. It's flavorful and seasoned to perfection. No greasy tongue! Also the size of the stick is perfect for that mid day hunger attack. Especially if you're low carb like I am. GREAT job Chomps! Customer for life!!
