Dried Premium Wood Ear Mushrooms, 1 Pound Box

These are delicious. When soaked in water, they more than double their size, so a little goes a long way. But when they're gone, I'll be back to order some more!

Very good product. Just soak till hydrated. I parboil them to make sure if there is any germs on them are killed off. I just slice them very thin and add it to my stir fry dishes. A great additional item to add to your food. It it gives a little crunch to the dish.

The mushrooms are much too large, even if you break them up first. Once they are dehydrated they are huge and much too thick...and also tasteless. They are much different then the smaller, Chinese counterparts. I will not be eating these at all...as they are already open, I assume I will not be able to return them. Disappointing...

the texture is chewey. the pieces are very large and I cut them to smaller bites. A great bargain .

I had bought 2 bags of wood ear mushrooms and I am not sorry, its a lot probably I will be using them for the next 2 years but i like it a lot and I tend to use more than needed because the taste its so awesome. The shipping was fast and I just love the product.

Add these to some hot water and they perk up really really fast and get huge in size compared to the dried version. More so than the tree ear fungus I am used to using. However, these turn pale brown in color and have a different flavor and a bit softer texture than tree ears I have used before.I do like these, but I miss the tree ears that remain black after I re-hydrate them and keep a higher level of crispness when re-hydrated.The price for the quantity of these is good, but the quality is only B level not A level.I probably would get them again because of the price.

I think I might have over purchased, I keep eating and giving them away and I still have too many. Tastes good as expected.
