There was no leakage. This product worked as advertised and I would recommend it for anyone installing a mini split system. It’s not that hard to do and saves you a lot of money. Anyone with basic mechanical skills is capable of the task.

It worked. I got a 2 pack. The white plastic for the seal deforms with one use. The gasket isn’t rubber, it’s hard plastic. I used my first one, developed a leak in my system and had to recharge. So then I used the second. Valve functioned perfectly both times but deformed with one use both times. Fortunately, I’m done. Unless you’re using this multiple times, the practical reality is that this will do your job with no leaks or issues. May I could use them again (even with the deformed gasket) but for the price, I wouldn’t. 5 stars from me!

Bought these to use on an LG mini split and it didn't depress the valve due to the collar design. If you are a DIYer you wouldn't know the difference because it appears you are vacuuming the lineset but you aren't and in this case we didn't know it didn't press in the valve until after the refrigerant was released and we removed it and it didn't make any noise or spit out any gas. I had a tech figure this out and I'm sure a bunch of people have made this mistake and have damaged machines from this poorly designed adapter. This $10 part will end up costing you $500 to evacuate and recharge your unit. Get a quality gauge set that comes with all of the adapters and stay away from this JUNK!!

They did leak one time but it was my fault. Good value for the price.

The thing I had to figure out is you have to use a valve stem tool to adjust the valve core depressor to the right amount of extension so it opens the valve when the fitting is tightened.
