Minecraft: Exploded Builds: Medieval Fortress: An Official Mojang Book

It arrived quickly and was exactly how i wanted it so i couldn't complain. Lots of fun fact and ideas.

Was a bit of an impulsive buy didn’t really need this, stopped playing Minecraft not long after lol… it’s got some cool builds but the guide isn’t perfect, it’s sometimes not very clear what to use and doesn’t always say where to get it from.. would be very good for kids maybe

This is a really detailed and lovely book, I bought for myself and my 5 year old who is obsessed with Minecraft and it’s been a joy to sit down with him and build some of the medieval structures. The fortress is only one of the constructions shown in the book, if you follow all of the examples you will eventually build an entire medieval city, complete with houses, farms, taverns, city walls and outer defences, cathedrals, town squares and the fortress itself complete with everything you’d expect to see there. There’s even a design for a siege engine! I absolutely love this kind of detail and my boy loves all of the pictures inside. It will take ages to build everything listed in this book!

Got this for my daughter and she love it. It has given her some great ideas and improved her build no end

Delivered quickly, perfect for keeping me sane during the lockdown. Only drawback is that Mojang could have included some idea of the seed they used for their build

Really great book my son loves it

My daughter bought this book for herself, but I pinched it and built a fantastic fortress that all the kids that visit are really impressed with! I found some of the instructions a bit fuzzy in that the explosive build didn't match the other illustrations on the page for example. However with a bit of creative imagination I managed to work around that. The only thing that I couldn't work out was the portcullis so mine is fake at the moment and wont rise and fall. However when I finish building the village and a few other bits and pieces I might go back to it and start again.... or I might build another fortress on a nearby hill. Yes, I enjoyed it that much!
