A bit unusual to apply as the adhesive needs to be applied to the cover before adhering to the device, but seems to stay in place once it's on. The cover doesn't click to one side or the other so check it often as you may find it slid open when you had it closed. This happens often to the one on my phone when going in and out of my pocket. The one on my laptop stays put though. Low profile; doesn't seem to get in the way of anything.

Just Google "MacBook Pro 16 screen webcam cover" and you will see what I mean. There have been several reports of using these smaller webcam covers with the new 16" MacBook Pro.I didn't do my research and 2 days after installing, i had a cracked screen. Thankfully I was able to return my MacBook Pro and buy another one (thanks Costco). But this is a HUGE issue and something that Apple as well as these 3rd party manufacturers should make well known.This webcam cover does work great on my earlier 13" and 15" MacBook Pro, but is NOT meant for the new 16" model. You have been warned. Thankfully this mistake didn't cost me, and I'm hoping this saves someone else the headaches of a busted display.

These do what they're supposed to do... for the most part. I bought these for my phone and they work relatively well.1. Adhesion works great and it was very easy to apply2. If you have a case on your phone and a camera that sits high it probably won't fit well. I have a note 9 and a slim case and I could barely get it to fit and still be functional. I also think because of the circular design instead of a more angular square/rectangle you lose out when having a case on because the circle cuts into the top of the camera.3. Like other reviewers stated after a little while the tension or whatever is holding the sliding cover in place becomes weak and starts to move on it's own, constantly opening itself which defeats the purpose of the cover.You get value for the amount in a pack and can just change them out but if it simply had a square design so you had more leeway when placing the cover on your phone when you have a case it would make it so much better.

I got these to replace some old plastic covers that were terrible. These seem to have fixed both problems I was having. These covers stay put, unlike the old ones that slid open and closed whenever they felt like it. And the covers don't pop out if you look at them sideways the way the old ones did.I see a couple people have complained that these don't stick well. They stick great, even on the crosshatch texture of my newest laptop. Just clean and dry the surface before you put them on. They're not going to stick to your oily fingerprints. They stick great to the plastic bezels on my laptops (even the textured one) and the oleophobic glass screen protectors on my phone and tablets.Yes, they're small but keep in mind that only the tiny pinhole in the center is the camera lens. Both of my laptops have big, circular frames around the camera but they're just that. Frames. Some have two layers of framing. It doesn't matter if you cover the frame. Just center the opening on the pinhole in the middle.

It fits on the tiny frame that my laptop has. So that is 5 stars! I decided to apply these to my phone and tablet as well. But the reason I gave it 4 stars on Adhesion and Easy to install is because it really isn't 100% easy nor is the adhesive 100% until you press it for a bit and it sets.When you install it, these things are so small you need to use a provided transparent sticker that is bigger and easier to hold on to. But that also gets in the way on small frames and small equipment. It's okay, but not exactly the easiest thing. The adhesive caused me to loose one of these when installing. I didn't press it long enough so it fell off and when I used my fingers I ended up touching the adhesive to the point it didn't stick again. The next one I attached I pressed it long enough and hasn't fallen off so far. So it is 4 stars in my opinion because it does hold if you go and press it strong and long enough. But not so good it sticks easily with minimal effort.I will say, I recommend this product to others, and will buy more if the need arises. The shutter that you slide to cover the camera moves easily enough with your finger but not so loose that it moves on its own.

I suppose I should’ve read the measurements better. These were hard to get on the camera because the hole is small and of course the sticky side only lasts once for placement. They are smooth and have no gripping on the front slide I expected that didn’t matter...it does. My Ipad cover doesn’t go over this because it sits higher... but it would be okay if it was longer because it’d be sturdier. I knocked 2 of them off trying to slide these ones. I’m peeved because these aren’t cheap just for 6 and being so tiny. I won’t get any more use out of them as I’m getting my newer phone this week. I mainly wanted these for My IPad Pro 12.9. I take care of things and am pretty gentle with things and I can honestly say these were disappointing. I’m going to shop for something with a gripping of some sort and longer. Mixed results with these covers, they are tricky to apply and don't adhere well to screen protectors. If applied directly to the glass displays on MBP or iMac they stick pretty well and do a good job, but on more portable devices like iPad and iPhone with screen protectors they never seem to stay stuck on and when using on an iPhone in particular with everyday use they keep sliding off the camera lens area. Also the sliding cover part is annoyingly loose on some of them and often just slides open on its own when device is tilted. Best for static desktop devices in my opinion.
